The goofy toad of toad hall-faced wanker

At least other countries have sexy right wing twats, why do we get him?

1.Please say his name as it is supposed to be said - farage like garage

  1. Please don't vote for him he's one of Those Guys - smug, sweaty faced supercilious thickies
  1. All his policies are gash

😄Hating Farage is now the cool thing to do.

What frightens me more is a coalition of Labour, the SNP and the greens. That will be the end of Britain. It’s already too late to save our identity, of course. As two-tier Keir put it, this is now “an island of strangers.” Immigration has happened on such a scale that it has destroyed any sense of shared culture or shared history. I don’t know how people have got the nerve to call Farage a fascist. The Left have imposed this change on us. That is fascism.

But it’s also a question of space. My home town (Colchester) is now so crowded I could scream. The roads are clogged with traffic, and the hospital is at breaking point. My local woods have been hacked down and replaced with two new housing estates, and we’re going to have 400 new homes built on the fields in the centre of the village. That’s on top of the 300 new homes already jammed onto some fields at the other end of the village. But no matter how many of these vile rabbit hutches we squeeze together, we always need more, more, more. From the languages spoken, I’d say at least half the people on those new estates were not born in the UK.

Edited

Have to agree with this. Particularly your first paragraph. But you dare not say anything, lest you be accused of being a bigot. And you will face the wrath of 'The Left!'

And I know three different people/families who have moved from Colchester in this past 2-3 years. (All have gone further north.) Also a bunch of people from other parts of Essex, and parts of Kent, and also East Sussex and West Sussex. They have had the good fortune (some of them) of making quite a lot of money from their home, and have bought outright up in Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire, Herefordshire, and other parts of the Midlands area. Many of them for the reasons you have illustrated.

People are going to talk him into power at this rate.

This thread is about Farage. There are plenty of threads to discuss Labour. Or you can start a new one.

Now, that’s real hypocrisy!

Your Starmer posts are littered with Farage references - one rule for others, right?

Miggledyhiggledy · 17/02/2026 14:28

Yeah and this is the lot who are meant to be the intelligent ones. I'm not seeing much evidence of that. I hope none of these lefties play poker because their money would soon be taken. How to show your hand and let your opposition know they get under your skin!

Too right. I reckon some posters who talk about dog whistles need to take a look in the mirror. Notice how they pop up right on cue?

Well, possibly not before Starmer has u-turned himself out of government (you note, I don’t say power).

A limp-dick flaccid PM (please forgive the imagery).

On cue, Miggledy.

Pavlovian, in fact.

Farage is yesterday's news. It's Rupert Lowe now. Anyone serious about dealing with demographics in the UK is voting Restore. I'm not sure what Reform are for now?

I am well aware you are a long term lurker of and occasional visitor to the long running "Starmer" series of threads.

Anyway. You asked me if I wanted to discuss Labour on this thread. I don't.

The only good thing about him being pm is that people will realise very quickly what a stupid thing it was to vote for him

I hope Labour raises its game so it doesn’t happen but I’m not hugely optimistic

Not a chance. People should be directing their anger towards the Labour party not Nigel Farage.

You may wish to inform Reform’s core, ahem.

Besides, why so quick to dismiss? I mean, we’ve all been told to remain patient with this Labour government, after u-turn no. 15, and reset no. 11 etc.

Funny how Starmer bleated repeatedly about how their work was urgent when they first came to power and now suddenly everyone needs to be patient. 🙄

Must confess, I was not aware that you were omnipresent on ALL Starmer-related threads - that must be taxing (poor-taste pun, soz).

The man is a walking contradiction

Hates the 'elites', yet was privately educated, worked in commodities trading prior to politics and is one of the highest earners in politics with his private interests.

Doesn't agree with working from home, yet employed his own wife to WFH and WFH himself doing Cameos and other jobs.

Thinks the EU is a terrible thing, but was an MEP and continues to take a pension from that.

Is anti-Europe, yet has an Irish and German wife/ex.

Is anti children speaking other languages, yet his own children speak German.

Is the voice of farmers, yet was the engineer of Brexit which screwed British farming with the loss of EU subsidies.

It's a (deeply unfunny) joke.

It's not just a joke, it's a disturbing sleight of hand. People actually believe the man-of-the-people, pint-in-hand, farmers' friend schtick.

If he were to get in, it'd be the biggest case of be careful what you wish for ever.

Farage not quite far enough to the right for you?

You might find that Rupert Lowe's new party will just end up splitting the far right and keeping them out of power.

If he can get the far right to destroy itself through infighting, then he will have been of great service to the country as a whole.

Well, those bloody foundations are not going to fix themselves, and those gangs are not going to smash themselves, are they?

Whatever happened to the old Hokey Cokey 1 in, 1 out? Seems to have gone quiet recently…

Miggledyhiggledy · 17/02/2026 14:42

The idea of Labour voters telling Reform voters they will get what they wish for. To use the lefties words, it's just a shame they've taken the rest of us down with them when they voted Labour at the last GE. I wish they would be honest and admit how much they fucked up. Instead they get round the party who despises women by labelling Farage at every opportunity. Destract and derail anyone?

On the contrary, with a combined 35%, the right is more likely to drag Starmer that way, despite his rediscovered ‘I am working class bollocks’.

It will tear Labour apart.

I really wouldn’t worry about this because it’s not going to happen

A few years back I would have made a bet that Trump would never be elected, but he was. Twice.

I wouldn't bet on reform not getting in. Can't stand the thought of it, but I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility.

Look forward to trying out some new flavours of popcorn. The implosion of the government hasn't even got started yet. With Restore throwing their hat into the ring, the left will be clutching those pearls at an alarming rate.

In your dreams!

Having two different far right parties isn't going to encourage more people to vote for the far right. It will merely split the vote and hopefully discourage the other parties from chasing after that cohort anyway.

Strategically, it would make much more sense for Labour to ignore the right wingers. It doesn't align with their values, they are never going to win that cohort over in any case, and they need to appeal instead to the majority of voters who really don't want to see a far right party in power.
