The goofy toad of toad hall-faced wanker

At least other countries have sexy right wing twats, why do we get him?

1.Please say his name as it is supposed to be said - farage like garage

  1. Please don't vote for him he's one of Those Guys - smug, sweaty faced supercilious thickies
  1. All his policies are gash

In your dreams!

Having two different far right parties isn't going to encourage more people to vote for the far right. It will merely split the vote and hopefully discourage the other parties from chasing after that cohort anyway.

Strategically, it would make much more sense for Labour to ignore the right wingers. It doesn't align with their values, they are never going to win that cohort over in any case, and they need to appeal instead to the majority of voters who really don't want to see a far right party in power.

Talking of dreams ...

Well, those bloody foundations are not going to fix themselves, and those gangs are not going to smash themselves, are they?

Whatever happened to the old Hokey Cokey 1 in, 1 out? Seems to have gone quiet recently…

Every one they remove nips back in at the earliest opportunity. Two for the price of one. 😂

Don’t tell me that He is being taxed to oblivion too?

The current state of humanity is very taxing on God, yes.

OhDear111 · 17/02/2026 14:54

I don’t think it’s beyond the realms of possibility either. People are openly saying how they will vote in 2029 or before and I believe them. They are easily led and shallow but it’s also a reflection of the poor politicians we’ve had for a number of years now.

However he’s a “look at me” politician and is more of a protest voice picking up the worst of the busted flush Conservatives on the way. What sane person would want Nadine Dorries and Suella Braverman again? But - people just vote against parties now, so they are not remotely discerning. Sadly, this is the nation we have become and in 2024, we only had 59.7% turnout. If you don’t want Reform, get out and vote!

What values?

Pander to the back bench welfare vote, you mean?

As for your use of the trite ‘far right’…it’s so tired.

This government is akin to a 12th man for the opposition. Tell your PM to keep going - don’t change a thing.

A few years back I would have made a bet that Trump would never be elected, but he was. Twice.

I wouldn't bet on reform not getting in. Can't stand the thought of it, but I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility.

As of February 2026 I would be very surprised if Reform don't win the next General Election

The talk of an early 2027 election would favour Reform (especially post May 2026 local elections).

BUT who knows what is round the corner as a lot can change.

Miggledyhiggledy · 17/02/2026 14:57

The surge of Tories defecting to Reform is indicative of a bigger ploy. Whatever happens, Labour are sitting ducks and so far, their implosive response is predictable - much like their supporters. All virtuous hot air AKA fur coat no knickers.

Definitely a good idea to do this. Who knows maybe they will now McSweeney is gone and Labour can see how it goes.

I rather doubt he will ever be the prime minister.
Your childish personal insults make you sound very ignorant though. Imagine the outrage if someone started calling out a Muslim name or insulting their physical appearance.

What does it have to do with Muslims?

What does it have to do with Muslims?

Some people seem to be obsessed with Muslims.

Miggledyhiggledy · 17/02/2026 15:03

Quite, while weaponising them to appear virtuous.

TrashHeap · 17/02/2026 15:04

DiySteve · 17/02/2026 12:09

The PP was bemoaning the potential for a right wing government, and posted that they intended to emigrate.

It’s not for me to decide where they planned to go - presumably they have an idea, but bringing up FOM seems a bit daft.

People should go, or stay - but don’t whine about restrictions relating to the EU.

It is QUITE legitimate for Remainers who did nothing to deserve this clusterfuck to moan about new restrictions linked to moving to the EU. So, yep, we'll keep on whining about that. Brexiters whined for 40 years about leaving the EU.

menopausalfart · 17/02/2026 15:06

If you're white, have money and you're male, you'll be fine.

Eskarina1 · 17/02/2026 15:07

Rubyring444 · 17/02/2026 12:07

The concern is the departure of high rate tax payers.

If the personal allowance increases to £20,000 at least you will have more money in your pocket to counter balance the above mentioned cuts. Autonomy over your own spending is preferable.

Not to me. I'm a high rate tax payer. I work in the public sector but would be an additional rate tax payer if I did my role in the private sector. For me a functioning health, welfare and education system that benefits all regardless of ability to pay is important.

However, if Reform get in I will take full advantage of my personal autonomy. I will shift into the private sector (a significant proportion of my colleagues would quit rather than work in a reform led public sector). I will get tax advice so I pay the absolute bare minimum in tax. I will cancel every subscription and buy as little as possible (2nd hand/local) for the duration of parliament to avoid vat. I will donate everything I can to causes I care about.

You can call him as many puerile names you want. I doubt your bizarre obsession will rattle a man who can hold his own. BTW, if you're going to employ alliterative techniques, at least make it original.

Crack on - bark at the moon.

Let me know how that works out for you, or don’t.

It’s all good.

Do you mean you’d be self employed in the private sector rather than PAYE?

I think because they are trying to frame personal criticisms of Farage as a hate crime.

We apparently cannot tell the difference between being rude about an individual on the grounds of their personally expressed views and behaviour and being rude about someone because of their race or religion.

To be clear, I don't dislike Farage for his race, his gender, his age or his wealth. I dislike him for his personality.

The public sector workers have been pampered for so long it's no wonder their bubble will burst if Reform get in. So you will change career direction because a party you don't like assumes power? Imagine if all the disillusioned with the current government did the same. As with the OP who "couldn't handle" a Reform government, it's just as well the private sector can be relied upon to show stamina. I think you might care to think your change of direction.

Btp · 17/02/2026 15:15

I can't believe farage would be anywhere near as bad as starmer, who has lied, cheated and conned his way to lead this country

Codyrhodesisaheel · 17/02/2026 15:18

Bagsintheboot · 17/02/2026 10:58

He won't ever be PM. He'll jump ship long before there's any realistic chance he'd have to go into No. 10.

He doesn't want the job. It's too much of a tie and a responsibility.

That's exactly what I think.

He has a proven track record of laziness and not showing up for work. Most notably right now as a Clacton MP.
He's very much like Boris Johnson. Wanted to BE prime minister. Wanted to have BEEN prime minister. Just too damn lazy to do the bit in the middle of actually BEING prime minister

There's still 3.5 years to go - a LOT can happen in that time.

We're seeing firsthand how the reform councillors are cocking up everywhere. We're seeing him fill his band of misfits with extremely unpopular ex-tories, so how the hell can he say he's the 'party of change?'
He seems to be aligning himself with Liz Truss of all people, there's not a fucking hope in hell that anyone would vote for her again.
We're seeing in real-time the danger of what's going on over in the US. A lot of people are going to wise up and say, "I don't want that"

Rubyring444 · 17/02/2026 15:19

Farage won't be PM. My money is on Jenrick. Is that OK with you OP?
