I think lady boys in Thailand pass. That's about it. Westerners may pass from 20 feet if they are small and petite but as soon as they speak it's obvious. Paris Lees being an example.

I’m not saying he couldn’t ever be said to pass (in a photo, not IRL, there is an uncanny valley effect with him). I’m saying i don’t think he can really be described as “stunning”. The trans aspect is clouding your judgment, I doubt you’d call a woman who looked exactly like him “stunning”, he’s pretty average looking for someone feted as a model.

Ok - genuinely asking - why?

I actually don't know if I can think of a reason why this would be an idea outside of actual eugenics.

That's why I never had any and until today regard it as the best decision of my life.

Princess Diana was no angel and would have made a terrible Queen. Her death was undoubtedly a tragedy for her boys, but doesn't change the fact that she was not cut out to be Queen.

Unpopular opinion - I couldn't give a shit if someone wears a Dryrobe on the school run / in Waitrose / walking the dog in a London park. I equally don't care if they have never been sea/lake swimming. I haven't got one, but I can see why they might appeal to people who want to stay warm and dry.

100%!! Sick to death of chilli on everything while eating out! And freaking truffle everything now too! Currently on the Isle of Skye for a few days ..proper food in our hotel bar; casseroles and mashed potato, veggies cooked in glorious butter, fresh fish grilled etc .. no chilli on anything, utter bliss! I don't mind chilli in the food it should be in but leave the classics alone!

I think there's a lot to be said for the stuff upper lip in terms of mental health. I think there's a balance between 'it's good to talk', and pulling your socks up. That's not to say that mental health issues can be resolved by pulling your socks up - just that resilience is becoming a lost trait.

The fact I feel the need to almost over-explain because context and nuance aren't things any more.

I don't understand the popularity of pistachio chocolate. There's green bars in all the chocolate areas it doesn't look right.

Names are fascinating. A colleague was talking to me about Cuban names. Apparently Toniblair was quite popular at one point and she'd come across a Usnavy (pronounced kinda Us-nabbee) after a ship his parents had spotted in dock.

Agree! Hate the bloody stuff. It stinks to high heaven 🤮 it is so overused in the UK by people that can't bloody cook!

Why have so many kids these days got glasses? Is it a trend? No kids had glasses when I was a kid.

I barely had eye tests when I was a kid never mind glasses.

Apparently less natural light is a major factor.
