Where is it?

Will they even do one?

Has anyone changed their initial viewpoint on the whole thing?

And lastly….Team Brooklyn or Team Beckham?

Some posters on this thread apparently won’t believe literally one negative things about the Beckhams!
Hmmm…..why?

CandiedPrincess · 23/01/2026 16:46

Hmmm....maybe because they're adults and they're allowed to form their own opinions. Just a hunch.

I’m neutral on this, it just looks like a family mess but one that’s being played out in the public eye. I’m sure there’s fault on both sides as there always is.

I wonder perhaps, as it’s Brooklyn that’s gone on the offence, whether people are reacting to that somewhat. Obviously, he believes he has a reason to do so, but unfortunately, the way in which he’s gone about it, particularly the inference relating to the dancing, does make him look little ill-advised.

Wonder what the "strange dynamic" is that the football coach mentions.

Yes, what does that mean and between who? He seems to be saying he witnessed really odd things?

It seems like he is strongly hinting at something but my brain currently feels too frazzled to read between the lines.

I don’t think he was, beyond a controlling vibe, but people are thinking Oedipus complex because of BB’s ‘she was dancing on me’ comments. Perhaps.

You could be right. I just think talking about witnessing a strange dynamic is a strange thing to say imo, particularly with the amount of general weirdness this story has generated. It could also be possible that he's hoping generate so newspaper interest for a paid exclusive.

GottaKeepItClassy · 23/01/2026 17:43

I wouldn't read much in to what Alex Ferguson has to say. His 'strange dynamic' was more about VB not being the good 'trad wife'. AF wanted total control over DB and VB wasn't having it, rightly so imo.

Sir Alex Ferguson disapproved of Beckham's wife and would have preferred him to have married a quiet, old-fashioned girl, the footballer claims.
He says in his book that Victoria was the subject of many rows with his Manchester United boss.
Ferguson "would have preferred me to have found a nice quiet girl who'd stay indoors, clean the house, change nappies and have my dinner ready in the evening".
"Well," Beckham writes, "you can't choose who you fall in love with."

A gracious person would’ve taken the mic and thanked him before saying he bride and groom should have the first dance.

It was a set up.

No, but other reports said this was at 11 pm at night, the couple had already had their first dance, then NP had danced with her father, then Marc made this announcement (awkward, but not VB’s fault) and that they danced for a bit and one of the brothers and the sister came along to dance with them too
MA is apparently good friends with VB hence his comment (was ill judged but not VB’s fault surely?)

Definitely team BB. His mother is a media maniac who enjoys posing.
The story around the wedding dance has been confirmed by the DJ, wtf. Even if it was a mistake by the mc, Victoria should have corrected it rather than take the torch, 💃 cringe.

It was a practiced and rehearsed routine as entertainment for the guests, surely VB was aware of the plan.

Was it a surprise ‘gift’ for BB that rather backfired?

If NP fled from room in tears BB could have excused himself early, if aware?

Really, or is it just challenging things which seem to be ramping up and up which on the face of it, are not very likely. Yes people forget their kids dobs sometimes, as I said I get muddled with mine in recent years, my post code etc

But, what next, a friend of a friend of a friends husband saw VB put a turd on the brides plate......oh, really doesnt sound like that would be true?

Well you werent there and the friend of a friend of a friends husband was there, why dont you believe anything negative about the Beckhams, hmmmm ...why!

Most of us are balanced and neutral enough to see a young man who has legitimate perhaps gripes about some of his childhood experiences but question the validity of exposing his parents in this way and then questioning things that dont make sense or seem likely when they're silly little nit picky things like, did they forget their OWN SONS date of birth. Horrible people.

My friend cannot accept that Sir Elton John has sided with Brooklyn. She is shocked. SHOCKED.

What? What has he said? He doesn’t seem like the greatest guy in the world anyway

I do have sympathy for how Brooklyn grew up, but I agree that some of the details that people are coming out with are a bit odd. Don’t they post happy birthday to him every year on Instagram? I guess they do know the date of his birthday.

He was in a terrible predicament. If he followed his wife, his mother would have been left standing like a plank in front of 500 guests. It was a loyalty test. He couldn’t win without embarrassing one of the ladies in his life.

Maybe they will issue a statement saying Victoria Beckham is handing over the intellectual property rights to her children’s own names to those children instead of keeping them herself.

She claimed rights to all their names when they were children (2016) and has not handed the rights over once the children turned 18.

I can’t see any world where that is the behaviour of a loving parent who has their child’s best interests at heart.

I don’t understand this?

Not easy but not the worst tragedy either. It does feel like a very ill judged ‘surprise’ by Mum which suggests kindly she might be a tad self absorbed. Has he married his Mum?

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 23/01/2026 18:31

I never called them horrible people. Brooklyn wasn't abused or starved and I'm sure they love him a lot, but having watched someone I love grow up with toxic parents who also didn't neglect or starve them but has caused a massive amount of harm, I do have a great deal of sympathy for him.

V&D possibly weren't aware that their actions were having such an impact on him, but they were and that buck stops with them.

The dob thing just came as a surprise because they'd always branded themselves as being a superior family brand and I don't think Brooklyn was that old when Mr Mel B was on the scene. That still doesn't mean that I put them on a par with The Wests.

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · 23/01/2026 15:11

I just took myself off to mail online for a nosey at the Fat Tony story a LP mentioned was on there but got distracted by their new top story, Mel Bs ex husband claims that Victoria and David couldn't remember Brooklyn's DOB and had to phone VBs mum to check 😯.

Fat Tony said dance was inappropriate because of timing (MA singing a love song which should be moment for bride and groom) rather than nature of VB dancing.

Describes the dancing as slow dancing, rather than samba-style: BB hands on VB’s waist/hips and her arms around his neck.

Apparently, NP stormed out in tears, followed by her family, while BB was left dancing with his mum, which is why he felt humiliated. He then went after NP.

Says Brooklyn upset about a lot of things, which can make the smallest of things become bigger.

sickofsixseven · 23/01/2026 18:41

But the couple had already had their first dance by all accounts, and then the bride had danced with her dad. Then the singer called vb up to dance with her son while david and Harper also danced. I dont see the big deal. Her entire family storming out seems over dramatic

Exactly, it’s odd and also not true in his statement if that’s the case

Has anyone been seen out since from The Beckham family or Bb and Np’s side?

I don’t understand why Bb would even block his little sister? What did she do!

Had BB & NP had a romantic dance earlier (?) I think so. It was the evening set, more informal?

Upsetting as it no doubt was to BB this really feels out-of-touch & makes me want to play the world’s tiniest violin for him. NP & VB locked in competition? Ridiculous.

Possibly Mum would use her to keep an eye or as a mouthpiece a fear? Legal advice?
