Where is it?

Will they even do one?

Has anyone changed their initial viewpoint on the whole thing?

And lastly….Team Brooklyn or Team Beckham?

I’d calmly tell them how I felt & let them know they’d overstepped & behaved inappropriately if I felt they had.

Is it poss NP had really pissed the DJ/‘team’ off? Either way, it’s her day, but I recall what make-up artist said about her being worst ever encountered.

NP poss decided she’d replay the whole event her way in a renewal.

Yeah and I’m sure that wouldn’t lead to a fall out!

CandiedPrincess · 23/01/2026 12:44

PinkPanther57 · 23/01/2026 12:07

Did VB know she’d be described as the most beautiful? Was VB setting NP up?

So BB & NP hadn’t danced, NP hadn’t danced with her father yet (?)

It’s not great but it’s not terminal cancer or a great tragedy. A silly spoiled people spat. Like a latter day Snow White.

Doesn't that contradict the Vogue write-up of the wedding? Or did I misread that? Or did Vogue make it up?

SammyScrounge · 23/01/2026 12:45

Mirabellas · 22/01/2026 22:35

I don’t believe it’s a set up at all. They’ll no doubt do what the Royals did, stay mostly silent.

That would be their best option.

Where are you getting this from?

Fat Tony’s statement - NB: (incredibly) first page Daily Mail - or was - & press elsewhere.

It does. Vogue sounds more plausible than Fat Tony, but who knows??

Yes, that contradicts the Vogue account of the wedding – and Vogue will not have made anything up, as they will have had to pay to be present on the day and to have access to BB and NP for the interview, and BB and NP's approval of the resulting copy will have been part of the deal.

Happy Tears, Midnight Fries, And Fatherly Advice From David: Inside The Peltz Beckham Wedding

But for many guests (myself included), the culinary experience peaked at the after-party, when a Wendy’s food truck pulled up to serve cheeseburgers, fries and chicken nuggets, writes Derek Blasberg in the June 2022 issue of British Vogue.

A gracious person would’ve taken the mic and thanked him before saying he bride and groom should have the first dance.

It was a set up.

This x100.

Well it depends on delivery & I’d leave it until next day but I’d speak up. Perhaps she did & planned things her way in vow renewal too.

never complain, never explain

And leak unfavourable stories to the press.

GottaKeepItClassy · 23/01/2026 12:55

Without any shadow of a doubt the Vogue article will have had to be signed off by Brooklyn and Nicola before it got anywhere near to print copy.

This x100.

It wasn't the newlywed's first dancethat had already happened earlier in the evening. It was to Can't Help Falling in Love, performed by a South African singer called Lloyiso. That was followed by NP dancing with her dad, to Wind Beneath My Wings.

The Brooklyn and Victoria dance was the first dance/song of Marc Anthony's set, which started at 11pm, long after the newlywed's first dance

Kingscallops · 23/01/2026 12:58

Playingvideogames · 23/01/2026 12:37

And you’re not assuming, are you?

What do we know 100% about all this?

Only that D&V have chosen to sell their kids out since the moment they were born, when they didn’t have to.

That speaks for itself.

That's your interpretation. The kids are loved, safe and financially cared for.

crossedlines · 23/01/2026 13:03

I’ve no doubt D and V do love their kids, and have certainly made enough money to be able to provide financially for them. However, they have shown zero respect for their right to privacy. Using them to create a ‘brand’ is emotionally abusive, those children had no choice in being plastered all over their social media and being exposed publicly like they’ve been.

NeelyOHara · 23/01/2026 13:03

Kingscallops · 23/01/2026 12:33

You are assuming a hell of a lot. Victoria can't help it if her son picked a fuckwit to perform at his wedding. A fuckwit who clearly wasn't briefed. I find all big weddings pretentious BTW.

I mean, you’re the one assuming here, and getting it wrong.
Marc Anthony is a very good friend of David and Victorias, he’s godfather to two of their children, Cruz and Harper. He was performing at the wedding due to him being a family friend,

This surely puts VB in a better light & if far from first dance why should VB be ‘gracious’.

Was it an unwelcome surprise for BB? Fat Tony saying hands had to go to hips.

TheDenimPoet · 23/01/2026 13:04

The problem is, nobody knows what the truth is. Social media and fame are what they are. They have to put on this front, or they wouldn't be worth the money. This could all be staged. It will have earned them a huge amount whether it is or isn't. Nobody knows the truth apart from the people who have been directly inside that situation. The Beckhams know the truth. They might have different interpretations depending on which one of them you asked, but there's no point asking who do we believe, because we don't know.

Things on social media are manipulated for the best possible effect. They always have been, right from the days of MySpace, you make your life look as good as possible (or as bad, when that might benefit you more). It's all smoke and mirrors. It's not the real world.

It’s interesting Fat Tony now seems to be giving another version or press spinning that way.

allthingsinmoderation · 23/01/2026 13:07

My initial viewpoint hasnt changed.
There are 2 sides to every story and to quote the late great Queen Elizabeth "Recollections may vary".... if Facts come to light that are evidential i may change my viewpoint on each separate allegation made.
I think Brooklyn has been badly advised to complain publicly though ,because if he truly wants privacy and peace his actions are not going to achieve that for him. Litigation is unwise too.
I hope they can resolve their family grievances ,but if not ,i hope they find some peace and move forward with their lives.

I dont think Fat Tony clarified wether it was (as Brooklyn said) the bride and grooms first dance though.
He just described Marc Anthonys actions (although MA hasnt confirmed or denied ) saying he called Brooklyn/Victoria up to the stage, called Victoris "the most beautiful woman in the room" which seem insensitive at a wedding.

whackwhackoops · 23/01/2026 13:12

I have seen a lot of support for VB since this has been published by BB. DB keeping his head down as he should. So many memes came out of VB dancing and I reckon its going in her favour. It wont do her any harm to show the fun and crazy side to her rather than the dower miserable persona she has strangely created publicly. I am team VB (not DB) and yes seeing her going to #1 in the charts just shows that girl power is still out there!!!

See Daily Mail front page if you can bear it. He’s interviewed & article. NB: Vogue I trust more as source.

I don't think Fat Tony is intending to mean that the BB/VB first dance was THE first dance (ie the newlyweds first dance).

In his This Morning interview he says 'first dance' in the context of talking about it being the first dance of Marc Anthony's set, which we know was much later in the evening, after the newlyweds' actual first dance, which had been between BB and NP, with another singer doing the performance of their first dance song.

It's an unfortunate lack of clarity, which reinforces the misrepresentation of BB's statement. Fat Tony may not have intended that, but the result is that it's reinforcing the misunderstanding that VB muscled in on the actual newlyweds' official first dance, which she didn't.

NeelyOHara · 23/01/2026 13:18

Vogue aren’t going to write that VB made a dick of herself at the disco are they? And Brooklyn and Nicola wouldn’t sign it off even if they did! 😂

It was inappropriate for a DJ to say that at someone else's wedding (bride should always be the 'most beautiful woman in the room'). I reckon he said it in the moment because he and Victoria are close and he was trying to convey the love and respect he has for his friend.

If a friend of my new MIL's had said that at my wedding - I would just think that it was a nice thing for them to say about her and then forget about it!
