Aibu to feel humiliated by this

So my DH had a peloton ride today. When he finished he went upstairs (very sweaty) and sat on the ensuite toilet seat to "cool down a bit", had a shower then came downstairs and sat and had his lunch. While he was eating I took some clean clothes upstairs to put away. Part way through I needed the loo so went to use the toilet. I sat down and the seat was wet. I very quickly realised I was sitting in DH's sweat! 🤮

I feel pretty disgusted by this and we ended up having a big row over it. I feel justified in being upset but not sure if I'm making a bigger thing out of it than is necessary. Not sure what I'm asking, I think I just needed to vent. I'd appreciate some perspective.

Humiliated??? Surely just some feedback to wipe up after himself would suffice, not sure why its humiliating 🤔

Luckily for me I don’t find my partner’s sweat disgusting. I would just give the seat a wipe and say nothing.

Humiliated? YABU. But I'd be annoyed he didn't clean up after himself. Not enough to argue about it, though.

I think feeling humiliated by it and having a big row about it is a massive overreaction. I'd have been grossed out sure, and I'd have been expressed that I was cross that he'd not wiped the seat after he sat on it but I wouldn't have got in a row or felt humiliated.

All these people on here saying it's gross - have they never been exposed to someone's bodily fluids? It's a bit of sweat, we all do it, and a lot worse. Are normal people really this prudish in this day and age? Presumably they'd be horrified to find out what a blow job entails...

Maybe you're thinking of a different word? Humiliated doesn't make sense.

It just doesn't fit the definition of humiliation though...Annoyed/repulsed etc yes but humiliated?
