I'm not disgusted.
Just incredulous that this is what passes for humour in some peoples lives.

Maybe you need to grow up and realise that farts aren’t embarrassing, if our bodies didn’t realise the gas we could be extremely ill. I’d much rather be relaxed and talk about the things our human body’s do naturally, then be an up tight snob like you

They are a natural bodily function. They happen.

But honestly why do you feel the overwhelming need to talk about them?

You really must have very limited topics of conversation if feel the need to go around talking about farts.The expression " get a life " comes to mind.

Being obsessed with farts really is something most people grow out of when they leave childhood behind.

And it says a lot about you if you go around insulting strangers on the Internet by calling them " uptight snobs" . You don't have to be uptight or a snob to find this level of humour peurile.

All i'm doing is answering the pp who have taken exception to what I've said.

I read the very beginning of the thread.
I made a comment.
And since then have merely been answering posters who have quoted my posts back to me.
I'm truly amazed at the number of posters who are so invested in the subject of farts. Who knew?

There are regular farting threads on Mumsnet and there always seems to be a very big division between people like me who find farts funny and realise that they are a natural bodily function and others who appear to be disgusted and are insistent that everyone has enough warning of an impending emission to trot off to the toilet or garden to let rip 😆😆
