To wonder what US Trump voters think now

Their country's reputation trashed. The man they voted for heavily implicated in the Epstein scandal. Contempt shown to them abroad.
About to completely shift Ukraine. Enabling Netanyahu to commit mass murder of children with their tax dollars. No roaring economy. The environment fucked probbaky beyond saving due to their inaction.
What, in all honesty, do the 75 million who have caused this catastrophe think?

I’d love to know if the majority of them can find any of the involved countries on a map.

That’s should be minimal if you support illegal wars.

LittleGungHo · 04/01/2026 09:00

There is a podcast called The Necessary Conversation with parents that are MAGA fans and adult children that are left leaning. The belief is Trump is incredible from the parents ‘Trump is my president’ mantra.

They also have short clips on Instagram.

Nyeaccident · 04/01/2026 09:07

My multimillionaire (black, immigrant) uncle proudly voted Trump (to the despair of all his children) because all he cares about is keeping his tax payments down

So depressingly I still don't think he has any regrets

X123x321X · 04/01/2026 10:05

They think the dear leader can do no wrong.

BlueJuniper94 · 04/01/2026 10:08

The scale of TDS here is mindblowing

BruceAndNosh · 04/01/2026 10:09

Trump is just proving his assertion that "he could shoot someone in the middle of 5th Avenue" and still get votes.
They believe every word that comes out of his mean little mouth

The only person who is deranged is Trump himself

Of what?

Dontlletmedownbruce · 04/01/2026 10:11

Honestly I don't think they care. We see it from a foreigners eyes, they don't know or care where these countries are and it doesn't affect them. Unless it hits them directly in their pockets it's of no relevance.

Instead of blaming the voters I'd like to see a world where the rest of the world particularly Europe stops kissing US ass and starts developing their own tech so they can use sanctions against the US for initiating war, same as we may do for other warmongering nations. Or at very least stop depending on US. Stop enabling the power.

BlueJuniper94 · 04/01/2026 10:11

OP I'll tell you what they think. They think "how much worse it would be is Harris was in charge"

Lottapianos · 04/01/2026 10:12

They will defend him no matter what he does. A lot of them are probably impressed with his bull in a china shop tactics - they will think it means he's a 'strong leader' or a real man or some such crap. Showing the rest of the world who's boss etc etc etc

It's beyond depressing

KabukiNoh · 04/01/2026 10:15

Objectively It was an impressive military operation and a show of strength. So whatever you think about the legal and moral implications, I imagine his supporters are whooping and hollering with approval.

BlueJuniper94 · 04/01/2026 10:15

Changingplace · 04/01/2026 10:10

Of what?

The number of people losing their minds about Trump, still listen to The Rest is Politics as if one of them isn't a war criminal, had and have nothing to say about Obama in Libya in 2011 or illegal drone strikes. But orange man bad. Its all bad, but it's just the double standards which expose just how effective propaganda actually is.

I've heard the Venezuelans are relieved someone is finally helping them

Donttellempike · 04/01/2026 10:16

Changingplace · 04/01/2026 10:10

Of what?

Trump derangement syndrome.

It’s what Trump and his idiot suppporters/ bots/ fellow criminals throw around whenever the orange maniac is held to any kind of account

NotDavidTennant · 04/01/2026 10:16

I'm not sure MAGAs care what the rest of the world thinks of them.

Unusually bloodless - I think bribery of his officials had a lot to do with it

Helping them ? FGS. Let’s see how that goes 🙄

Sequinsoneverythingplease · 04/01/2026 10:18

I have many US friends, I travel there annually. Most are of the opinion that you have to take the rough with the smooth. The dems screwed it all up and now they’ve had to vote in a rough man to clear up the mess. Do they like him? No, not really, but the alternative is unbearable.

pinkypoo8 · 04/01/2026 10:20

Trump arrangement syndrome I suggest you go away and have a look at the history of Caracas and what's going on there this was a precision Targeted incident in Caracas because he is trying to protect the USA from crime and drug trafficking do not comment until you know more about what has gone on in Caracas over decades with the corruption, fixed elections you name it - do some homework Before your ignorance blinds you completely

HRTQueen · 04/01/2026 10:23

Do you think all Americans will see the events of recent days as tarnishing their reputation

even those that are not die hard Trump fanatics will not necessarily see it that way as the belief that America being the greatest country is so entrenched for so many that acting on what is beneficial for the country is ultimately the right solution

ChristmasHug · 04/01/2026 10:24

Venezuela used to have the highest GDP per capita in the world, before corruption and bad planning. I know a British teacher there and there is some hope amongst the population that this will help them - not that trump won't have his greedy fingers in the pies but that they'll see more of it than they correctly do.

And I'd imagine trump voters only care about MAGA and this will help.

Interested to see how the stock markets react tomorrow.

TwotierChristmas · 04/01/2026 10:24

@Nyeaccident after the second election I remember some very well heeled and firmly feminist educated USA women being asked why they voted and yes, came back to money in pockets.

AgnesMcDoo · 04/01/2026 10:26

His supporters love him and even
more

those who don’t hate him
even more

very little will have changed

I know. Trump's level of derangement is unbelievable. And yet some still support him.
