Thought id "treat"the DC today. Until I saw the price! WHO IS SPENDING 7.49 ON 3 DONUTS???

Are they worth it?? How can they be?

IMO they are greasy, sweet and sickly.
Not a patch on the ring or jam doughnuts we used to get from a local bakery as kids.
Lots of folk rave about them, but I'd rather have a doughnut from Greggs 😱😆

They are really not that great. Most of the flavours taste really synthetic and are sickly sweet (and I have a sweet tooth!).

The plain glazed ones are the best but still no better than one from greggs. A supermarket jam doughnut is miles nicer than any of them.

Not worth it in my opinion. Just sweet goo in sugar covered dough.

Im not keen on donuts (apart from hot seaside ones) and not sure the dc would like the filled ones.

They're like McDonald's chips...only nice when they're freshly cooked.

Otherwise very very sweet

Go to Lidl bakery. There donuts there are always good (and cost a lot less).

I agree with others that a standard jam doughnut is far superior

I also find them way too sweet.

Just a normal sugared donut is way nicer, or even better, an NI gravy ring (if you know, you know)!

They are vile, I’ve only had one once and they’re really synthetic tasting and overly sweet.

I absolutely love them. They are very popular. I don't think they're too expensive, as long as you aren't buying the dozen.

Influencers hoping to get the attention of a big brand. People who want to copy their favourite influencers. Not people who actually like donuts (who are either buying Sainsbury's jam donuts or finding a local bakery who does awesome donuts).

The only place I've had trendy donuts (massive, brightly decorated, themed or with mad flavours) that were any good was a little coffee shop on the quayside in Porthcawl.

They are sugared ring donuts, but i swear they are different to normal (english or american) ring donuts! They are a bit chewier and less sweet and they are the best donuts imho

I like them. I don’t think £2.50 for a branded donut is that bad either.

Never purchased any but someone I work with has kept me well supplied with them throughout December.
I think they're nice but I wouldn't pay the crazy price for them myself.

£7:50 seems reasonable for 3. I would have expected at least £3 each. I mean they look like shit and not worth the money or calories but I would have guessed they'd be more expensive.

I find them far too sweet as others have said, but also spookily soft and pappy

Fresh from the fryer in the shop at Hermiston Gate in Edinburgh they are absolutely gorgeous, less so when they’ve done a few miles. I do enjoy a nutty chocolata on occasion.

Had one once. Chucked after one bite. So so sweet and actually not even a doughnut - more like something trying to be fried cake. Disgusting.

Not fussed by them either.
Fresh mini doughnuts at the seaside, or Morrisons jam doughnuts for me.

Krispy Kreme are deeply overrated. They’re overly sweet and no better than similar doughnuts you can pick up in places like Greggs.
