Where in gods name are my car keys??

Anyone got any bright ideas what on earth I’ve done with my damn car keys??

I must’ve had them to get back into the house, checked all coat pockets, bags, shelves (where I usually put them) drawers, kitchen, bathroom, inside shoes in the hall, pulled sofa cushions out & looked underneath??

Agghh, really need to go somewhere tomorrow - where have you lost/found keys before?

Mine were inside shoes that had been tidied away into the shoe cupboard.

Another suggestion for shoes!

Do you have kids, have they put them in their bag/toy kitchen/box of bricks?

Outside of the door?

Mine were in the bin... No idea

I found mine attached to the underside of a reclining chair, every time I opened it they disappeared into the chair as they were attached to the mechanism if that makes sense

In the car? In the door?

Is your car locked? Any chance you went back to grab more things after initially unlocking the house and set keys down in it? Or tried to put in a pocket and they dropped on ground?

Someone else in the house thought they were theirs and have taken them out ?
You forgot something and popped back to the car and they are there ?
You have a young child and they have taken them - look in their toy box / bedroom ?
You've got on wash on , and they were in the pocket so ( unfortunately ) in your machine ?
They've fallen in the bin ?
They are still in the front door ?

Under something you brought in from the car?
You put some shopping away and put the keys in the fridge with the milk?

Given the amount of cheese being consumed and wine drunk right now, I fully expect to find my keys in the fridge at some point over the next few days.

Dressing gown pocket?

Mine were in my husband's jeans pocket, hung up on the end of the wardrobe. He'd gone to look for a petrol receipt at some point and forgotten about it. We'd turned the house upside down looking for them. Nothing makes me more frantic than lost car keys.

My sister found hers hanging off the rose bush by the front door, about six months after she lost them. Assumed a child had hung them there.

In a umbrella that was in a basket by the stairs

A pair of wellies. I did once find a set in a pair.

Fridge

One time I found my keys in the front door, from the outside. They’d been there overnight. So fortunate that no-one decided to use them!

I make sure now to always put my keys in the same place when I enter the house. That’s because after years of leaving them in the door, we moved to a house which has a digital lock, so I thought they’d get lost very easily if I couldn’t put them in the door anymore!

Mine were in a drawer. I'd been putting things away.

Pray to St Anthony and ask for help in finding them...

Then if you'd be kind enough to let me know if this actually works it would be muchly appreciated..

They'll be in the very last place that you look, so keep on looking, and that's where they'll be 👍🔑
