Where in gods name are my car keys??

Anyone got any bright ideas what on earth I’ve done with my damn car keys??

I must’ve had them to get back into the house, checked all coat pockets, bags, shelves (where I usually put them) drawers, kitchen, bathroom, inside shoes in the hall, pulled sofa cushions out & looked underneath??

Agghh, really need to go somewhere tomorrow - where have you lost/found keys before?

Yes, behind the kettle.
In pockets, under ironing, under a chair, in a handbag. In my actual hand:)

We keep them in a pot in the kitchen now.

in the bathroom (rushed in to go to the loo and put them down)
outside of the door
coat pocket
did you bring anything in with you?

In the car? In shoes? Pocket / bag / kitchen cupboard?

Did you have a hat and gloves on? Could the keys be with these?

I last had them when I went Christmas shopping last Sat, then I wasn’t well with a cold for a few days and only used DHs car so I think they’ve potentially been missing for ages and I’ve just not realised 😩

I’ll have to look again tomorrow, I’m out of steam now and just going in circles.

Retrace your footsteps from when you last had them.

Check the present wrappings/bin bags from when you cut off sellotape/paper etc. Where you keep the sellotape, tags, paper. Where the presents were hidden.

Coat pockets. Laundry basket. Shoe racks.

Fridge, freezer, kitchen cupboards, where you keep your empty shopping bags.

How I nearly lost my card wallet: I thought I had put it in my pocket, but saw it slide out of my trouser leg onto my shoe. Instead of my pocket, I'd unknowingly slipped it behind the waistband of my trousers.

When you came home from shopping that day, where did you head to first? I’ve got a freezer in my garage so I’ve found my keys in the garage before, from going in there to put frozen stuff away.

While I cant say I am perfect, being male I keep them in my trouser pockets so they always have a home they go straight to when I have finished with them.

Does your husband also have a key to your car or where is the spare?

My partner took mine home by accident when we were staying at my parents! (Possibly my fault)

Mine usually turned up in the pram hood!

Hope you find them as I was in the same position a while ago. This is why I now have an Apple air tag on them which beeps when I try to find them with my iPad.

Mine were in the bin with a load of used wrapping paper

First thing is to stop. What did you do last time you had the car keys. I retrace my steps. Failing that it's in the airing cupboard or fridge

We had dropped ours by the car and a helpful person had put them on the bonnet (in the groove between the windscreen and window wipers). We didn’t find them until after we’d paid for new keys (£300ish!!!)

Mine were in the sick bucket the other day!

I frequently have to pray to St Anthony to find things, or as an alternative while you are searching say St. Anthony guide me out loud while you do it . Window sills are a big dumping ground for keys and purses , things get put on top of keys there all the time
