Those prisoners starving themselves, what the hell is going on in this crazy world!!!!

Pro Palestine activists are on a hunger strike, I really hope you get the result you want, the people of Gaza remember you seven kids who died for…… oh for them! 😂

I watched an interesting interview months ago now a young guy who was born in Israel then his father ended up being one of the head chiefs ( killers) in Hamas he know lives back in Israel after escaping…. His wise words were…. ‘ you lot in the west have no idea what is going on, with your protests and flags, stop trying to get involved in something we can and won’t be able to change’
This comes from a person on both sides who stayed very humble but very blunt.

Stop your silly little hunger strike, go and enjoy time with your family and friends you are lucky enough to be able to do that.

Im not “ignoring Hamas”. Hamas are a terrorist organisation and what they did was horrific and indefensible.
But acknowledging that does not mean we stop talking about what Israel and the IDF are doing now. Hamas are terrorists, Israel is a state with one of the most powerful armies in the world and therefore held to international law.

Condemning Hamas does not give Israel a free pass to punish civilians, flatten neighbourhoods, and make Gaza uninhabitable. Yes Hamas committed atrocities but he Israeli government and IDF are now committing war crimes.
Being pro-Palestinian is not being pro-Hamas. It’s being pro-civilians, mainly children not being bombed, murdered and displaced.

We have all see the videos of how much joy it brings the IDF to murder Palestinian children for fun so dont give me that, 'oh what about Hamas' argument its irrelevant.
As of September the death toll for children alone is at about 19,423.....so tell me again how Hamas are in any way comparable to the IDF?

They’re not comparable. Hamas are far far worse. Israel and the IDF are defending their own people and protecting them, whereas Hamas have never cared about the Palestinians or they wouldn’t have hidden under their hospitals and schools, using them as human shields, or diverted aid to themselves to line their own pockets and watch the people they claim to represent die. No comparison at all.

I’m not defending him in any way. I simply stated the fact that he isn’t on hunger strike.

Palestine Action - who is their leader? Where is their head office? How can we send them hate mail? The likelihood is that there are numerous groups, including Jews Against Genocide, who are being held responsible for the violent actions of a very small group of people in one incident.

I don’t think putting paint on a plane is terrorism. Criminal damage, a public order offence, yes, but a plane is an inanimate object and can’t be terrified.

I was just adding to your post to say his trial is currently taking place.

The leaders of Palestine Action are Richard Barnard who is currently awaiting trial for supporting Hamas, and Huda Ammori who is a dimwit who thinks that it's the law that if you're on hunger strike, your demands have to be negotiated.

It’s possible to oppose genocide and not be anti-Semitic. There have been huge protests against the bombing of Gaza in Tel Aviv, by Israeli Jews who don’t want their adult children to be conscripted into the IDF.

Ah so you are worried about the calling up of Israeli soldiers??? All the pro Palestine marches are anti semetic. Where are all these marches re Sudan

BlackCatDiscoClub · 18/12/2025 23:27

My heart breaks for the Palestinians who have been living under an apartheid system for decades. My heart breaks for the murder and kidnapping of Jewish people that started this new phase of the war. My heart breaks for all the Palestian people murdered since and those that have been left behind. My heart breaks for the Jewish people murdered and their families who live to grieve them after the Bondi beach terrorist attack. My heart breaks for them all.

Staringintothevoid616 · 18/12/2025 23:25

Why? This is what happens to people determined as potentially dangerous or flight risks.

if someone is accused of say murder shall we let them walk the streets until they are found guilty

It shouldn't take 20 months for the cases to come to court. The horrifically underfunded justice system is what we shouldn't accept as normal.

What have you been doing to sort this out for the people accused of paedophillia? Or is it just the dimwitted anti Semitic terrorists you’re worried about?

He's not awaiting trial, his trial is going on at the moment. He pleaded not guilty despite there being video footage of him bludgeoning the police officer while she was on the floor.

He said he was doing it to protect a friend.

If you've seen the video footage of them storming into the offices swinging around their sledge hammers and screaming at the security guard, they were fucking deranged.

😡😥

These people have been imprisoned for peaceful protest ...that you think that's laughable says more about your moral values.

People like this won us the vote, the weekend, free healthcare, minimum wage and more ...but yeah laugh at principles...if you are young enough you cant watch ALL these rights be eroded

BusyBat · 18/12/2025 23:32

Livelovebehappy · 18/12/2025 23:18

Absolutely no comparison whatsoever. Why would you compare the Suffragettes with these idiots?

The Suffragettes were not non-violent. They smashed windows of government buildings and shops, set fire to empty houses, churches, and public buildings, sent letter bombs, cut telegraph wires, damaged public parks, and destroyed artworks. They were also hunger strikers.

gingercat02 · 18/12/2025 23:32

Hunger strike is a long standing political protest. See Bobby Sands and the other IRA hunger strikers in the H-Blocks in the 1970s. I'm sure there is historical stuff too. It's powerful!

So the videos you’ve seen are enough to convince you that the IDF (all of them?) enjoy murdering Palestinians for fun?

Would it therefore be reasonable for someone to watch videos of civilians in Gaza celebrating the murder of Israelis and make such a sweeping statement in return?

Even if you take out the assaults they committed, breaking into a military facility and damaging equipment is not a "peaceful protest", hence the criminal charges against them

I believe it was broken by one man, as shown in the video. It doesn’t mean everyone protesting genocide is violent.

Hunger strike is a long standing political protest. See Bobby Sands and the other IRA hunger strikers in the H-Blocks in the 1970s. I'm sure there is historical stuff too. It's powerful!

Lord Timpson said earlier that there had been 200 hunger strikes in the last year in prisons and they are used to dealing with them. That you have to go back to the 70s and people who died to reference ones that people remember suggest that they're not that powerful unless people actually kill themselves.

Demanding ambulances and medical attention suggests that this lot are not intending to kill themselves. I am worried that their extremely vocal and fanatical supporters will egg them on to the point where they cannot back out though.
