Listed something for sale. Get a message saying it is available and what are dimensions. No hello? No please? Such basics.
Edited to add: the dimensions are already in the for sale advert.

I agree that 'please' and 'thank you' is basic courtesy and society is better for it. Just to add, I have sold a lot on Vinted this year and I would say that around 80% of people I was in contact with were polite and friendly. It makes such a difference. I did the same as a PP said with the rude ones, I just ignored them.

They arent there to be mates with you are they. its called business.

All more reason to be polite otherwise if it were my friends I'd be saying "yo dickhead".

I would respond with a screen shot of the ad with the dimensions circled in red

I'd say please/thank you if it were me. I just naturally do it, without even thinking.

But equally, I really couldn't give a shit if someone who's just buying a jumper off me on Vinted doesn't bother with those sorts of pleasantries. If someone says 'Hi hun, lovely jumper, could you just possibly let me know if it's true to size for a 12 or is it more like an oversized fit? Thanks so much xx' that's fine, but the response isn't any less of an effort for me than it would be if they just said 'is it a true 12 or oversized' and it doesn't bother me at all.

The flip side of the people who push past others in shops etc are the ones walk sooooo slowly and dither and block aisles with trollies etc.
They are just as rude!

I was a Woolworth's Saturday girl and this is what we were trained to do.

The shop keepers in my little local shops - greengrocer, butcher, baker still say please and thank you.

i was a Boots Saturday girl and we were too. I loved working there, it was a coveted job back in those days
