To think that antisemitism now needs to be tackled in the strongest possible way?

The Bondi thread in chat was eye opening.

Forty pages and a lot of it whataboutery, excuses and vile antisemitism.

It’s disgusting.

It needs to be called out. It needs to be rooted out.

I feel so sorry for the Jewish communities everywhere. How can they possibly feel safe?

Why is that relevant to anti-semitism being tackled in the strongest possible way? Why have you written that?

You wrote more or less the same thing more than once on this thread. You kept talking about Gaza when pp told you this was a thread about ANTI Semitism and you couldn't even have the grace to apologised.

It was the wrong thread

And actually @singmoon I think you owe @Humdingerydoo an apology for your shockingly dismissive response to her post.

report your own posts and get them removed then.

Course it wasn’t. You used the same phrasing as the post title

Then what’s the problem getting it removed? It would take less time then replying back to me.
But as pp said you used the exact same phrasing

Well I do believe the conditions in Gaza should be tackled in the strongest possible way but got two threads mixed up.
But really there are more important things in life to be concerned about than getting Mumsnet threads mixed up

It was more than one post, more or less staying the same thing. You are just digging yourself deeper into the hole of your own making. 'Get a life, indeed' Mumsnetters get posts deleted for such rudeness to other posters.

yes like antisemitism, it can come in many forms, some of it the wide eyed faux naive type.

You accidently posted on a thread using the exact same words as in the thread title? You are unlucky aren't you?

That's the point of this thread: antisemitism, not the conditions in Gaza. HTH

Pedallleur · 17/12/2025 18:24

Only been going on since before Moses led them into the desert and it's been there ever since all throughout Europe/Asia and Russia.

But do you really not see that it’s bigotry and hatred that the deaths of those poor souls grew from?

Yes, indeed; the bigotry and hatred of growing up in a death cult that celebrates the destruction of Israel and the sadistic murder of Jewish people, as evidenced by e.g. that guy calling his parents to gloat over having the blood of Jews on his hands, and their ecstatic reception of this news; the jubilation in the streets when Shani Louk's broken naked body was paraded to be spat on; the Gazan civilians who swarmed over the border to rape, mutilate, torture and burn alive. Of course the Israeli government has its nutters too, but I do find it odd that you only seem able to point the finger in one direction. Are you seriously saying that those attacks were a direct and understandable response to Israel's treatment of Gaza? That Hamas itself can entirely be blamed on Israel, without acknowledging their clearly stated goals?

Well said..these people always say they are equally horrified at both Islamophobia and antisemitism. Their posts never quite seem to tally with that.

I’m aware of the history, thanks. It’s fairly obvious that antisemitism has risen in response to the current genocide.

Not in response to so you're aware of naff all. Blinkered in your self-righteousness that's only to make yourself feel morally superior. I don't think there's much moral superiority going in when you can't even mourn the loss of innocent lives without twisting events. The people on the beach had no connection whatsoever to Hamas and Gaza except to be a religion and ethnicity that can't be left alone, by fascists, inside and outside of Gaza and most certainly on this thread.

Any rise is the antisemitism

To me, it's clear that the word "genocide" has been turned in the opposite direction from the obvious intent of Hamas, who have manipulated the narrative ever since 7/10 and the so-called "pro-Palestinian" marches that were arranged for the following weekend in the UK, while the attacks were still unfolding in Israel. It was a classic DARVO move: if we keep shouting "genocide", no one will realise that's our own plan. And it's working so well... to the point where any attack on Jews is met with "but genocide in Gaza!".

I call it it a war; this does not make me a psychopath who wants children dead! - because it was fought against combatants who disguised themselves as civilians/medics/journalists, maximised civilian death/casualties by careful placement of strategic points, reported everything as a civilian loss, and then exploited everything for social media (as well as flooding social media, including MN, with disinformation). That it resulted in the death of ~3% of the population, in those circumstances, is nothing short of a miracle and does not point to genocide, in my view, despite the fact that the Israeli government includes some dangerous nut jobs.

I hope it's not too little, too late. The seeds are sown and have been readily accepted.
