To ask if you’re having a flu vaccine?

My GP surgery has text me to inform me that I’m duet flu vaccine. I’m going to book myself in.

Will you be having one too?

The earliest appointment I could get is the 8th of December.

I have my vaccine booked for tomorrow. First flu vaccine I have had. I have a toddler and a newborn so seems sensible to do. Toddler is already vaccinated. Would have got it sooner but caught a horrid cold from toddler right before baby arrived.

anyone know who effective this years vaccine is? Aware it’s a drifted strain but hoping it still fends off the worst of it.

That’s only a few days now though - next Monday.

Daughter came home from uni with flu. Aching, in bed, sneezing etc etc. I had nagged her to get the vaccination, she didn’t. So far I’ve not caught it. I got the flu vaccination last month.
