DH said I’m not a very likeable person?

Me and DH were having a discussion today about finances and what we should do to make it more fair. Anyway further on into the conversation he said he wouldn’t take any advice from me because I’m on the spectrum.
He also stated that no one has ever liked me and that I’m not a very likeable person, people just put up with me.

I have ADHD and always have been a bit awkward and a loner somewhat. I never really had many friends but I was never bothered. I’m not great with people which is surprising as I work in HR.

Its made me feel really shit and wonder whether there is some truth to what he has said. As he’s getting older he’s becoming meaner.

Aibu for not being able to forgive something like this?

Marriages are hard work - if you listen to the majority on mumsnet everyone would end up divorced. Puppy love is called that for a reason. It's what nature does to get two adults to commit for the long haul so they stick around to raise children.

I hear you on this one. Also work in HR and have spent years experiencing the very worst in people. As a consequence, I think I’ve developed an aloofness and ability to keep people at arms length to stay professional and now I struggle to connect to many people on a deeper level than everyday pleasantries, expecting to be let down. I’ve also suspected for some time I’m ND but learnt to play to my strengths such as not taking criticism to heart and handling tough times with resilience. Hard to hear this from your husband though. The people who know and cherish you should recognise your qualities (and there will be more than you realise!) and lift you up.

Look up rejection sensitivity dysphoria and ADHD. He sounds very unpleasant.
