What are your thoughts on Cynthia Erico’s and Ariana Grande’s behaviour?

Obviously this is just light hearted gossip. They’re doing no harm.

But I absolutely fascinated by Ariana’s and Cynthia’s odd behaviour during the press tour for Wicked. They seem extremely close with one another. But I hate to say it comes across very contrived.

Ariana looks and acts like a fragile doll these days. In stark contrast to her previous pop star persona. And Cynthia has seemingly decided to play the role of her protector. It’s all very strange.

They have both lost a lot of weight. But what on Earth has happened to these two during filming?

This thread won’t be for everyone. But some of like to discuss the psychological aspects of behaviour. It’s obviously pure speculation

They both give me the creeps.

Haven't seen much of the press stuff recently but I think Ariana suddenly lost a lot of weight before Wicked, she was always tiny and id say any loss is going to show. She also had a pile of face work done not just recently but when she was young. Her nose is completely different. These days she looks like the tip is about to fall off. Whatever about her looks, it's that weird little girl vibe she has now that I can't stomach. The way she speaks and acts like she is 11, it's so strange. Definitely something deeper than weight loss going on there.

I've worked on film sets are crew and actors do get very loved up with each other often times and its intense to be onset with the same bunch of people for everyone involved but the actors are often in an even more rarefied atmosphere and they have done these two movies together back to back. However after working on multiple films you realise it is just kind of fake or rather what people do for survival in the moment because filmmaking can be gruelling, lonely, stressful etc. I no longer work in that field because lifestyle is harsh.

I do think both are so very thin, I don't know if that is from overwork or whatever but it can't be great for their mental or physical health, they both must be exhausted and I hope they get a good break after all this is done with.

Just because I name her (because this thread is about her and Erivo) doesn’t mean that I blame her. I don’t. My mention of HIS awesome wife is a clue.
