To ask what advent calendar you’re getting?

I’ve just bought myself a Malteasers Truffle one. What about you?

I remember my favourite advent calendar as a child was a paper / card postman pat advent calendar. I used it well, well into my teens. I’d still use it now if I had it and I’m 43.

I usually have a traditional glittery picture advent calendar and a candle.....if I can find them both, as there aren't many shops that sell them where I live, although of course there would be no problem if I wanted a chocolate one....
DH never had anything as a child and our kids had pictures not chocolate.

I’ve seen advent calendars (paper) and candles in the garden centres recently.

One for the dog, one for the cat, cadburys (the non expensive one!) for the family

I have bought 2 for our 2nd Ds ( age 23 ) who lives away , got them delivered. One from Chococo the Chocolate shop in Swanage Dorset, we live in Poole and visit there, they are divine chocolates!
I had an email from Grumm , their advent calender is on offer, looks interesting so ordered that for him too-a while ago I won an offer on Macdonalds monoploy for their shower bars, they smell lovely so hopefully their advent gifts are decent.
I’m doing my own advent envelopes for our eldest DS and DD who are at home, bought the set from tiger, tiger the other year, usually put in things like polos, babybels, crisps, small colins from m&s “treats” for their lunches , a small amount of cash for the 25th.

The Biscoff one sounds lovely! If I had seen that one, I would have picked it myself

I bought the John Lewis tea light one. I am v proud of resisting the beauty ones!

I got a Tony's last year and it was only 2 varieties so disappointing 😔
