I’ve just bought myself a Malteasers Truffle one. What about you?

I didn’t know the White Company sold them!

Yep they do them every year, bit of a treat. It's sold out now though.

BrightSpark10 · 18/11/2025 21:51

Kinder bueno 🤤

CluelessAboutBiology · 18/11/2025 21:54

I want one of the Boots No 7 advent calendars, but I can’t justify the price. (Am trying hard to learn the difference between “want” and “need”) I’m on a diet so I won’t get myself a chocolate calendar, as once I get the taste for chocolate I won’t stop!

I’ve got DP one from Home Bargains with packets of crisps and other snacks in it.

MrsTulip · 18/11/2025 21:55

Don’t buy myself one as I’m not that fussed about them to be honest.
DS, 12 has asked for a Cadbury heroes one

SliceofTosst · 18/11/2025 21:55

My DH and MiL buy me one each.

Not sure what they will be but think one will be Lindt.

Maybeishouldcrochet · 18/11/2025 21:58

This weekend the job is making the homemade advent calendar
We cut out cardboard wreaths and decorate with the small ones. Hole punch and attach a ribbon. Then with pegs attach 24 different treats- crisps, chocolate, sweets etc
After seeing the price of the one the child wants I am being mean......

OrangesCinammonIvy · 18/11/2025 22:05

@Bagsintheboot that sounds beautiful .

Cadbury are so utterly crap now aren't they
Unfortunately DD saw it and wanted it so I had to get the strange triangle one.
DH a toblerone one.

They are lovely! This is the one I bought this year: https://www.lovechristmas.christmas/products/nostalgic-christmas-advent-calendar-with-milk-chocolates?pr_prod_strat=e5_desc&pr_rec_id=551020abe&pr_rec_pid=8742407110876&pr_ref_pid=7927076028636&pr_seq=uniform

They're a bit more than a Cadburys one but then they do have to be imported and they're not always easy to find although one year I lucked out and found some in a random farm shop. Now I just order online in October / November.

They're still significantly cheaper than most advent calendars out there nowadays...!

AliTheMinx · 18/11/2025 22:12

For DS (14), a Taskmaster calendar and a Kinder Bueno one.

I will probably buy myself one - maybe Dairy Milk - yum!

ScorchingEgg · 18/11/2025 22:17

I have a Lakrids liquorice one this year. I went through a phase of loving the beauty advents but they are so similar each year that I got bored of them (I still think they’re beautiful and great if you’ve not had them for a few years/before).

JaceLancs · 18/11/2025 22:19

Hotel Chocolat
We also have a Lego one which I will fill up with min figures

Fluffydas · 18/11/2025 22:20

I got hawkstone for the men in my life. They are huge

ToadRage · 18/11/2025 22:21

My lovely husband surprised me with cadburys one.

IdentifyingAsAWoollyMammoth · 18/11/2025 22:24

I have an advent candle rather than a calendar.

Dolphinnoises · 18/11/2025 22:24

I will be buying a cardboard one with glitter on it. This is the only proper way of doing things. My family all think I am mad but they are more interested in my picture than their own chocolate…

P00hsticks · 18/11/2025 22:30

Thames &Kosmos EXIT Escape room one - we get one every year. Only the first door is numbered and each day has some sort of puzzle to solve that tells you which door to open next.

ghostwhisper · 18/11/2025 22:30

Space NK

randomchap · 18/11/2025 22:34

Pact coffee.

My mum still uses the one my siblings and I made for her when we were kids.

edwinbear · 18/11/2025 22:35

I have a LookFantastique one and the Sephora one. It’s a ridiculous amount of money but DD (14) and I share them and negotiate each morning over who wants what. Generally she wants the make up stuff and I get skin care which suits us both. We have a fun month opening them each morning and it pretty much covers our beauty needs for the year.

MountainofWashing · 18/11/2025 22:38

I usually have more than one, different types. This year I have a Cadbury one for mornings and a fruit tea one for evenings.
DH has lindor, DD ferrero rocher and DS kinder bueno

FrangipaniBlue · 18/11/2025 23:05

I usually have a lindor one and get calender envy when I read threads like this and see the beauty calendars….

this year I had a fuck it moment and bought the Elemis one 🤣

unsync · 18/11/2025 23:11

I have been gifted a cherries in chocolate calendar. I also have a fabric one that you velcro a piece to each day. It builds into the nativity scene and I'm rather fond of it.

pinkpony88 · 18/11/2025 23:20

loveawineloveacrisp · 18/11/2025 21:30

I've got a White Company one.

kittyfairy66 · 18/11/2025 23:22

whatsthestoryhunkydory · 18/11/2025 23:26

I finally found a lovely one today that just has pictures behind each window. Just like I had as a child. The chocolate ones do nothing for me - I’d rather just have a bar of chocolate! Very much looking forward to my traditional Christmassy picture a day though.
