I asked AI what we should do when someone says hello.

You should
say "hello" or "hi" back with a smile to acknowledge the greeting. You can also ask a follow-up question like "How are you?" or "How's it going?" to encourage further conversation.
Simple responses

  • Mirror their greeting: A simple "hello" or "hi" is a direct and polite way to respond.
  • Add a smile: Accompany your greeting with a smile to show friendliness.
  • Use a wave: A friendly wave can also be a great way to say hello, especially from a distance.
Responses to continue the conversation
  • Ask a question: After saying "hello," ask "How are you?" or "How's it going?" to open the door for more chat.
  • For a more specific greeting: If someone says "good morning," you can respond with "Good morning" or "Good morning to you too".
  • If the greeting is more informal: If they say "what's up?" or "how's it going?", a common response is "not much" or "good".

You should definitely not let your NDN use your garden for access.

My 3 year old has been very vocal about the upcoming budget. She thinks that the two child cap should remain. She cries and is utterly inconsolable about how we will cope if the welfare bill keeps going up.
Her cries are keeping our neighbours up at night. They are benefit scroungers. They never leave the house but they have a posh BMW on the drive. Must be one of those frees cars people on PIP get. The husband has an electric wheelchair but he must be taking the piss as I see him in his kitchen without it.

sorry but pmsl 🤣

AIBU to expect DSS to live in annex in the garden and to clean up after we’ve ate dinner? DH thinks I’m gaslighting him & dss but I think they’re both narcissistic. I don’t care that we earn six plus figures he can stay in the bloody annex as my precious DC need a room each (child abuse/cruelty) to not each have their own space. I’ve tried explaining this to DH I’ve told him several times to choose his battles wisely as this is the hill I’m willing to die on.

Should we log the disappearance with 101? Or even 111 if it's that bad...

RapunzelHadExtensions · 14/11/2025 16:29

Could they be neuro diverse?

Catpiece · 14/11/2025 16:33

Garamousalata · 14/11/2025 16:44

I want to go full veggie but I love eating meat. Can anyone help me?

Catpiece · 14/11/2025 17:31

I’m a high earner on £180k a year. My husband earns double this. Are we destitute?

Does your oh have one on his bedside table? It’s an extremely practical way to dip and clean said penis post coitus. No noisy bathroom trips. 🥳

Just go to the food bank. Or give up your jobs and go on benefits. You'll definitely be better off as you get given everything and don't have to pay taxes.

Ceramekins · 14/11/2025 18:36

I agree.
Sorry OP.

I'm any case, you only gave birth yesterday so you can hardly be pregnant again yet.

Shakeandvacuum · 14/11/2025 21:23

Is 49 too old to have a DC? I’m a single parent with 6 children but I’m broody and I’m not sure I’m done yet.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 14/11/2025 21:56

You should have harvested your eggs years ago.
Then you could arrange to have triplets.

I say go for it!
