I can't use vinted anymore

with the sizing change. I buy 95% of my clothes from vinted. Just tried to look for a new coat and its too stressful. I don't think i can use it like this :(

Well living with it means not being able to find anything in my size when searching. So they won't be getting any purchases from me whilst it's like this. I also won't be listing anything either.

I’d be on board if they had the between sizes. I’m looking for 10-12s. 8-10 is too small, 12-14 is too big. Why can’t we have the in betweens?

Very frustrating. I’ve done well from Vinted over the last year and now it’s too frustrating to click on sizes 16/18 to find out it's a 16 which won’t fit me!

There is a great risk on both sides that buyers will find that any clothes they receive won't fit.
Vinted was complicated before, but it's unusable now.

I just can’t get my head round it. XL (stuff I’m browsing) also says UK 20-22. The day before yesterday, XL=14. I don’t mind what size is on the label, but buying something which says UK 20-22 means it’s what size really? Clueless. And I don’t want to buy it if it’s a 14-16 (in real UK terms). A 16 would drop off me. Looking at a pair of combats: they’re a Shein XL. Vinted says this is a UK 20-22. It is not.

It's a bit complicated and I dont think I like it. I am very much size 10-12 and the groupings put me off as 8 would be way too small and 14 too big. And I don't much want to search two categories and then peer at labels.
If it happened to have fallen as a 10-12 category I'd have been happier! Probably depends on which two sizes you fall between as to how well this works for you...

If I wanted to find size 10 jumpers, I'd be able to find them. I wouldn't be offered size 8, 10 and 12 jumpers.

I'm also sick of Vinted's insistence on using XS, S, M, L XL........... it's really, really unhelpful.

Why the hell didn't they just change to 8,10,12 or SML, surely offering both options would have been the best solution! They've just made everything even more complicated. It doesn't have to be this difficult.

It needed to change, but grouping sizes together, eg 12-14 is just crap. I'm a 14-16 so now have to search in two categories and disregard the 50 % that are too big or too small. Why not just let everyone list things by size, eg 12, 14 etc without having to have L, XL etc?

I used vinted twice and it was bloody crap not used it in year now.

It’s crazy. I’m a 6-8 so would have to search 6-8 and 8-10.

I’ve also had to hide my wardrobe until I can go through everything to check the sizes (I will be putting the size in the title too).

I much prefer it. A size 12 was also a L but L clothing is more like 14-16 so too big. Now it's 12-14 so I at least know to check actual size.

I feel for you OP. Some people just like to pick fights. It's perfectly fine for you to feel stressed about it. And people who criticise or try to tell you how you should be feeling or acting can just f off.

Well yes, I now have to edit all my listings because Vinted have faffed about with the sizes. Loads of sellers and buyers won’t know about the changes yet so it’s made searching a lot more difficult. Things can be varying levels of stressful, it doesn’t have to be serious.

Well, we all know that it's Vinted's fault, so they should let buyers return things for free.

Agreed. I'm a size 10, not an 8 and now I'm seeing more size 8s than 10s when I search, or items I have no clue on the sizing at all. In some brands that size smaller I might be a 12 but I'm not a 14.

What you have to do is edit your listings.
Go to whatever size Vinted have put on your posts, and change it to the right one.

That's what I've done. I have some jumpers on there which I'd put on as size 10. Vinted had put them on as size 16-18 (wtf) so I changed it.

It's maddening.
