Aibu to think that the Darlington nurse case in court right now has not had much press and that it is a very important case.

Its weird isn't it? No one knows what the hell we are or how we know what we are, but everyone's absolutely bloody sure who gets to say 'take your clothes off for me' and who is not allowed to say 'no'.

Yeah, funny that.

The RCN called them bigots and refused to help.

The RCN were so horrible to Sandie Peggie that she is suing them to get 30 years of subs back

The RCN has also refused to help Jennifer Melle and in fact sided with the man who hurled racist abuse at her

  • man
  • convicted child rapist

The BBC has suddenly decided that it knows what a woman is and what a man is - wonder what could have brought that on! 😂

Several sightings posted on this thread starting here:

However, on the BBC website the stories are still corralled as if only of interest to people on Teesside 🙄

Women need to be saying this out loud - repeatedly. It is rape culture to compel women to undress in front of male colleagues.
The NHS are openly trying to decriminalise voyeurism and indecent exposure - and nobody is calling them out about it.

I remember when Sarah Everard was killed there were a lot of news items about flashing and indecent exposure and how it should be taken seriously and can be a precursor to sexual assault.

I remember thinking it was the elephant in the room that the trans issue was never mentioned - there would be parallel articles hand-ringing about whether males should be allowed in female changing rooms etc if they said they identified as female (in fact they didn't even have to say it as it was considered hurtful to even ask why a male might be in there).

Anyone who has ever done Prevent training will have also recognised the risk factors and markers associated with radicalisation in the trans movement too.

So, so many posts here I agree with about how “trans rights” have been a way to undermine the protection mechanisms women have developed. They pulled an absolute fucking blinder in not only undermining them but making women the bad guys if we tried to defend/reinstate them.

On the tampon thing, once - ONCE - in all my years have I been in a loo when a woman asked if anyone there had a spare because she’d forgotten to bring anything with her or had lost it or something. She was clearly embarrassed. We’re used to dealing with periods, we’re prepared and it’s not something you “wing”.

And the idea of accepting a tampon from a TIM makes me shudder in horror as to what might have been done with it first, or even just the thrill it’s going to give.

SidewaysOtter · 12/11/2025 10:20

Oh, and as for the BBC, there was a decently balanced piece last night. And on the front page no less, rather than buried on a sub-page for BBC Arse End Of Nowhere.

Maybe they’ve started throwing off the shackles of the internal TRA bullies?

Can I remind you that the Darlington Nurses garden needs more attention
