My work colleague is bonkers, isn’t she!?

My long term and close colleague told me today she sometimes makes a 40 minute round trip home on lunch to avoid having to ‘do the deed’ using the only loo in our office. Is this not the most ridiculous thing ever 😂

Edited to say I’m not the P troll before anyone says haha

...Also, if she has this weird controlling hang-up by proxy, she could even question him afterwards and make him 'reassure' her every time that he only had a wee. Horrible, if so.

Out of interest, do the non-work poo-ers ever stay in a hotel? A toilet that’s been used before, a bed that’s been slept in by other people.

Also, why drive home for a poo but not for the other? Or does she drive home for the other too?

For me it's nothing to do with the toilet being used before. That's no problem. I love staying in hotels and b & bs. Nor I'm a prudish about pooing. Was a nurse. Can talk about it till the cows come home.

I want to poo but my body just doesn't feel the urge when I'm away. Its not a conscious choice. Stupid body just won't comply. It's weird and literally a giant pain in the hole.

I did do a poo in an airbnb once with no fuss - medication, yoga poses, etc - and it was so momentous I was shocked and I did a little dance after it.

I had a work colleague that didn’t drink at work all day so he wouldn’t need to use the toilet because he thought they we’re disgusting as most men didn’t wash their hands 🤢

But surely there are sinks for him to wash his hands, aren't there?

Besides, if somebody doesn't wash their hands when they emerge from the toilet, their hands don't magically become clean once they return to the main working area. Presumably he would refuse to touch anything that has ever been touched by anybody else in the workplace?

You had to grab the door handle to leave the toilet. He pretty much much didn’t leave his very clean desk area and had no reason to touch anything outside of his desk area. He wouldn’t use the canteen either.

i kind of see his point, I went to the toilet after the waitress in a nice restaurant and she didn’t wash her hands. I was shocked. So it makes me wonder how often the people that prepare our food wash their hands but most of the times I just try to get that thought out of my head. I couldn’t live like that
