Boyfriend sent me a video

I've started to date a new guy (he's not my boyfriend) and he sent me a video which was supposed to be taken at 6am in the morning (he sent it late afternoon).

It was taken when he was in bed (no not sexual) and what caught my eye is that it was light outaide. The light was shining on the TV screen in his room. He has those office type blinds vertical style.

The video was black and white in style, so it wasn't bright in the room, I just find it bizarre the winwod were so bright.

He stated his son woke him up at 6am and he took a video of him singing. I just found it weird the windows looked so bright.

Is it really bright at 6am? I thought it wasn't bright until 7ish.

(He is staying he's tired from being up early etc and can't meet, which is fine but it looks so bright outside that I instantly thought the video wasnt taken at night. I've just got a feeling it's not quite right)

Just check the properties of the video. The time and date it was taken will be there.

Then I'd dump his ass because when they lie about trivial shit like that you're constantly wondering how many big lies they're telling. My twat ex was exactly the same and it's so fucking pointless some of the things he lied about. And then the way they actually seem to believe their own bullshit🤨 chuck him back, liars are not worth the headspace

I’m always up early and take the dog out at 6.30am daily and need the head torch. Though i’m away on holiday since before clocks changed so not sure now what time its light

Surely anyone who is on Mumsnet is far too grown up to be analysing the light in videos to check if men are lying. Surely.

Living in London. Not according to Google but generally once absolute darkness lifts here: penetrating light wakes my kid without a true blackout blind by 6:15 ish daily this week (was 5 am ish in previous weeks).

What.... I saw something that wasn't quite right, I have a feeling I can't shrug of. Just need confirmation

I don’t know about you, but at 36 I am absolutely not wasting my life dissecting videos that I’m sent and double checking someone’s every move. I have neither the time nor patience.

He didn't send it until the afternoon. Sounds like he was being a little hyperbolic. My DC were up before 7, and it was light out.

Yes it’s light out at around 6am where I am because the clocks have just gone back an hour. (I have to get up and walk the dog around that time so have noticed the change). Is there a reason it’s bothering you? Do you suspect he’s lying?

My iPhone says sun rise is 7:07 but my camara shows light when my DH leaves at 6:30 (dark when DS leaves at 5:15)

Camera will have infa red or whatever so it can see in the dark. I don't think the phone does.
