I certainly think this is absolutely the right decision. But this has all been swept under the carpet for a long time with the usual head in the sand approach. If makes me think there might be more to come out. This wasn't just going to go away.

(and did) take his brother's title away.

I think there have been a lot of rumblings about the now king very much wanting Andrew out of Royal Lodge since before the Queen died. Andrew could always rely on the legal sticking points around his investment which I suspect has strung the whole thing out across many, many months and caused a very protracted negotiation.

I wouldn’t be entirely surprised if the public, media, government pressure has actually done the Royal Household a favour in forcing the hand here.

I can’t help but think this is hilarious. My friend met Andrew a while ago when he was still an ambassador or whatever nonsense guise he travellled the world under. He said he was an obnoxious dickhead.
