To ask which songs stopped you in your tracks the first time heard you them?

Was listening to some music today and after my playlist was finished Spotify went off on its own little algorithm-y journey, and I suddenly found myself listening to a song so beautiful I had it on repeat for about an hour. That sort of thing happens to me very rarely, so I thought I’d see if anyone else could recommend songs that have struck them in a similar way.

Love this. Naturally has to be screamed at the top of your lungs in the car whilst driving by yourself for full cathartic rage effect! 👌🤗

Johnny Cash's cover of Your Own Personal Jesus by Depeche Mode is amazing too. He knew he was dying when he recorded these more contemporary songs. Such a unique voice.

OMG I heard the Freemasons version first and loved it then found the Alanis version and it made the hairs on my arms stand up. AM Jagged little pill is one of my top albums but had never heard Uninvited before - in fact I’m coming off MN to listen to it before I go to bed (up early for work 😞)
