You literally couldn’t make this shit up.

This country is broken.

Reform should send David Lamey a big thankyou note for this gift.

'Everyone else is brainwashed and hateful except magnificent me.'

😂
Including, it would appear, Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International....

A young white British boy taking an interest in Ango-Saxon history is ... 'a hateful child'. The no-borders brigade are really losing the plot.

They are. Something more seems to be going on there and it’s a no thanks from me.

Pianoaholic · 25/10/2025 10:17

I wish someone in government or the authorities would read this thread.
Maybe it would get through to them that so many of us feel this way about the so called
'system'.
Are Labour willing to risk their chances at the next election by ignoring this issue?
And I am not saying Reform are the answer.

Clearly I am not getting through to anybody here so I will just leave you all to it as I have better things to do with my Saturday.

But I will say, I am disappointed. We as a country were moving towards something truly magnificent, and Labour are probably the only mainstream party that have the vision to see it through. But too many women are buying into the lies about asylum seekers, immigrants and multiculturalism, and it will destroy all the progress we have made as a society since the turn of the century.

My best friend’s son has all of a sudden taken interest in Anglo Saxon history. I haven’t the heart to tell her the reasons for why a young white British boy would all of a sudden care about his heritage, I know it would break her in two to know she’s raised a hateful child. No doubt this scenario is happening up and down the country, and all we can do is try and counter the narrative every day.

I don’t have the strength for that but hopefully others who feel like me do. And like I said previously, perhaps the authorities need to be notified of the rhetoric being espoused on a mainstream British platform.

It’s all so tiresome.

Your comment is unbelievable.

i don’t think there is anything magnificent about the UK at the moment

why are dc of Caucasian origin not allowed to learn about their history?

there was a drama on the BBC about Harrold and William of Normandy recently

The "so called" grooming scandals was the kicker for me.

Do you understand that deciding all men from a particular country are the same is racist?

I’d give up on the “racist” rhetoric, it sure as hell isn’t working any more.

I'm hoping that the surge for Reform will force Labour to get a grip on this issue.

Because pretending it's all fine and trying to get everyone to shut up won't wash any more.

AutumnCosy2025 · 24/10/2025 19:35

Well to be completely honest, I'd happily not allow a man from Sudan to claim asylum here.

I agree. I'd add to that Afghanistan and basically any country where the men treat women and girls like prices of meat. That culture and mindset doesn't end when entering the UK.

StrongLikeMamma · 25/10/2025 09:39

This is what you focus on when a horrific crime occurs. Why defend the chaotic and risky system we have?

Wishing14 · 25/10/2025 10:36

@Swiftasthewind the problem is your views and what you think are the opposite side of the coin of what you claim to fight against, black and white thinking and ‘us’ and ‘them’ narrative. It’s sad you cannot see it. Multiple things can be true at once. Hatred in your own culture and people is very sad though. I hope you learn to open your heart one day, at least for yourself and for your children if you have any.

WigglywagglyWanda · 25/10/2025 10:37

I see the argument repeatedly posted that we should be more threatened by "men", some mentioned our husbands, fathers and friends.

If these scary men were brought up in an enlightened country where women are respected...and STILL seemingly turn out so scary, why would we open our arms to those whose culture dictates that women are servile (at the very least). Surely these men would be even worse than our (seemingly) home grown version?

I dont quite get why not wanting worse folk in means you are ignoring the home grown issues. Its possible to be concerned about all crime.

VanillaBerthaCake · 25/10/2025 10:44

Swiftasthewind · 25/10/2025 09:11

Because he will be punished and go to prison for the crime he committed. The law is working as intended.

What isn’t working however is the horrific slander that people who claim asylum to this country have to go through because of a few bad eggs, who may have been influenced by British society to commit those crimes so I don’t even know why people are blaming Eritrea or wherever they lived previously. Maybe we should look at our own culture before pointing our fingers at others who we see as ‘inferior’.

Influenced by British culture? Sounds very much like “Western women wear revealing clothes so deserve to be raped”. Go take a long walk off a short cliff. And yes, a culture where newborn baby girls are buried alive by their fathers and gay men are stoned to death is inferior, no argument about that. You wouldn’t last 5 minutes in one of those countries as a woman who presumably likes to voice an opinion.

WildLimePoet · 25/10/2025 02:38

The number of asylum seekers going on ‘holiday’ to their home countries tell you everything you need to know.

Honestly, this country is a joke and everyone is laughing at us.

I think as big a scandal is that the health service is so degraded here by years of Tory austerity that Ukrainians go back to an active war zone for medical and dental treatment they can't get here.

Whammyammy · 25/10/2025 10:51

AmyDudley · 24/10/2025 18:23

They were men who committed crimes, the BBC doesn't actually have to say they are asylum seekers. Far more men who are not asylum seekers commit crimes against women every day. They aren't reported as 'man who a born and bred in UK commits crime'. why not ?

And David Lammy is hardly personally responsible for a mistale by a prison ( a prison system the tories had more than enough time to reform but did nothing about.)

Good lord. They were asylum seekers though, if they were not here, then these women would be alive.

Much more to come too.

They were racists. Very unwelcoming to the Vikings and the Normans

This thread is full of dangerous and quite frankly racist rhetoric about immigrants. I am wondering if it is worth reporting it to the police, is that possible? Will they take it seriously?

I'm as left wing as they come. Am pro free movement with the EU, think people who voted brexit are frankly thick and responsible for the mess we're in now. But I would boot out every asylum seekers man from these countries with hideous attitudes to women and do everything we can to rescue as many women and girls as we can from those awful hell holes. The man can fuck off back and sort their country out and make it safe for women and girls if people are so convinced they don't share those hateful attitudes.

I’m with you, Ken.

But we won’t make any progress with what needs to be done until cynical (or stupid) people stop shouting ‘racist’ at those who are critical of unregulated immigration etc.

It’s the cheapest, naffest, most pathetic playground jibe which is always wheeled out to shut people down. We need to get over that and soon.

Cleikumstovies · 25/10/2025 11:26

ColinOfficeTrolley · 24/10/2025 18:41

2 women a week in the UK alone are murdered by men they know.

Are you up in arms about that?

Women will get murdered and raped daily whether illegal immigrants are here or not.

I agree that immigration is a massive issue, but let's not pretend women and girls would be safe if all male asylum seekers disappeared tomorrow.

Good point. So as we have large groups of protesters unhappy that asylum seekers, one or two who have attacked women, will we have groups of people, presumably feminists and people who rightly point out more women are abused by British born men, protesting around the homes of convicted rapists or the estates on which they live?

AnareticDegree · 25/10/2025 11:26

Unfortunately, @Kendodd,Keir doesn't agree with you and so the mess will continue under this government too.

How are Labour going to even start to address the problem if they can't say it exists?
