You literally couldn’t make this shit up.

This country is broken.

Reform should send David Lamey a big thankyou note for this gift.

My daughter’s first Neurological Consultant was from Sudan. He has done some groundbreaking research on headaches in children and adolescents and has helped thousands of children. I’m glad he is here. Sadly retired now.

Well I'm glad you found the needle in the haystack, I'd rather not have the haystack for one needle.

See this is exactly the kind of misinformation that the rhetoric on this thread leads to. There is no evidence whatsoever that Egypt is any more dangerous for women than the UK, that is a narrative pushed by right wing media to deflect from the horrendous attitudes towards violence against women and girls in this country.

Stop buying into it people ffs.

So you think that stories of the treatment of women and girls in other countries are part of a conspiracy theory? Ok.

HRTQueen · 25/10/2025 09:51

A country, Egypt in this case, where a men can still have up to four wives is as safe for women and girls as the UK

yeah of course it is 🙄

How the hell do I scare you when this thread is full of demonisation and hate towards scared people fleeing for their lives? Are you actually serious?

Are you actually serious? Are you aware of the recent news of Rhiannon a mother who did lose her life?

Unbelievable. I'm tempted to post a link to the Human Rights Watch evidence on such matters, but I fear it would be pointless.

Because the whole issue of stopping the boat crossings is a very difficult issue to sort out!
There is no simple solution to any of it and if you think Reform will be able to fix it you are deluded.

But keeping a man in prison who’s supposed to be in prison should be quite easy!

I am not especially knowledgeable but thought there was a simple solution until 5ish years ago, i.e. return to original point of entry into the EU.
Due to this, there was no market for payment to come to the UK.
And far less of a problem.

Because he will be punished and go to prison for the crime he committed. The law is working as intended.

What isn’t working however is the horrific slander that people who claim asylum to this country have to go through because of a few bad eggs, who may have been influenced by British society to commit those crimes so I don’t even know why people are blaming Eritrea or wherever they lived previously. Maybe we should look at our own culture before pointing our fingers at others who we see as ‘inferior’.

Dear God
Are you having a laugh “who may have been influenced by British society to commit those crimes”
What you mean like not being covered by a hijab and full body covering as well.

Swiftasthewind · 25/10/2025 09:58

Clearly I am not getting through to anybody here so I will just leave you all to it as I have better things to do with my Saturday.

But I will say, I am disappointed. We as a country were moving towards something truly magnificent, and Labour are probably the only mainstream party that have the vision to see it through. But too many women are buying into the lies about asylum seekers, immigrants and multiculturalism, and it will destroy all the progress we have made as a society since the turn of the century.

My best friend’s son has all of a sudden taken interest in Anglo Saxon history. I haven’t the heart to tell her the reasons for why a young white British boy would all of a sudden care about his heritage, I know it would break her in two to know she’s raised a hateful child. No doubt this scenario is happening up and down the country, and all we can do is try and counter the narrative every day.

I don’t have the strength for that but hopefully others who feel like me do. And like I said previously, perhaps the authorities need to be notified of the rhetoric being espoused on a mainstream British platform.

It’s all so tiresome.

Mamalasira · 25/10/2025 09:59

Perhaps like that case of the asylum seeker upthread, who went out on his bicycle and was assaulting women and girls. When arrested and charged he said that he "didn't know it was against the law". So he just cycled round, grabbing women by the genitals.
Perhaps he got the idea from a British man 🙄

Another one who doesn’t understand basic math and proportions and representation.

Honestly, it’s so concerning that so many people lack such basic skills.

Edited

How dare you insinuate I don't understand basic maths.

I'm sorry YOU don't understand that your thread is a disingenuous offering, dressed up as caring about violence against women and girls.

Have you ever started a thread about white men who commit violent acts against women? Thought not.

Proportional representation is not the issue here.

'Hateful child'.

Just listen to yourself. You are so full of bigotry, hate and racism, that is why you can't help but see it in everyone and everything. Including children apparently.

My son also likes learning about his culture and history. Please explain why it is fine for him to do so, but not a white boy from the UK?

Then again, why am I bothering with someone so colossaly thick they believe countries like Egypt are just as safe for women and girls as the UK was is.

The fact he was an asylum seeker is irrelevant.
The issue here is that a prisoner was released incorrectly.

The fact that this man shouldn't be in the country in the first place is definitely an aggravating factor.

5MinuteArgument · 25/10/2025 10:11

A young white British boy taking an interest in Ango-Saxon history is ... 'a hateful child'. The no-borders brigade are really losing the plot.

Fighting for our rights as women does not involve making up false claims about a group of people and scapegoating them to make ourselves feel better. It’s like the so called ‘grooming scandals’ that the media won’t shut up about, despite the actual threat being our own fathers, uncles, brothers and friends.

Wow.
You want to cover up and dismiss the grooming gang scandal as well.
No wonder you are all for gaslighting about immigrants and their crimes.
