AIBU to be completely done with the Jellycat teabag madness? Honestly, who knew a small stuffed teabag could cause such chaos. The minute they come out, they’re gone – poof – straight into the hands of people who don’t even like them, just want to flog them on Vinted for triple the price.

I wouldn’t even care normally, but my daughter has been utterly brainwashed by this Jellycat cult and now apparently her collection will be incomplete without a pretend teabag. Meanwhile, I’m sat ringing around and scanning social media like a mug while Janice from Kent is selling 5 of them for 65 quid a pop.

And don’t even get me started on the Aldi wooden toys. Blink and you’ve missed them – unless, of course, you want to buy them off someone online who’s decided they’re now luxury limited editions.

Can we not just let kids have toys without turning it into a side hustle? It’s a cuddly teabag, not gold bullion.

I really can't see the issue with kids and adults having plushies. I have several on my bed or desk as does my nearly 19 year old, my 14 year old a d ten year old

I saw an item about fake collectible toys on the TV recently. Apparently the fakes are not just a rip off, some of them are actually dangerous.

Im an adult and i collect some jellycats (just for me) try temptation gifts, maia gifts, bigwicks, white company, plush paws. You can register on some of those to be notified if they get stock in and maybe youll get it there

I was luckily able to get two one for me and one for my daughter. Have also just got the new Space Nk bag charm. Trying to get another one for my daughter. We both have our own collections going but some of them she wants the same as mine. The peach was the other one!! I go on holiday this week then I’m buying us some Christmas jellies! We love their little cute faces and legs. I was a 90s kid and they do remind me of the beanie babies hype but bigger for some reason! I hope you get it for your girl xx
