Since when is it ok to victim blame and penalise people who have done nothing wrong? Surely the right course of action would be either to ban ALL fans of both sides or better police the event? So are Jews not welcome at sports games now? Because some people are racist bullies? I genuinely can’t believe this has been allowed. Where does it end? Can Jews no longer safely access society? What if the risk is high elsewhere, will they be banned then? What do you think? AIBU to think this is discriminatory and a slippery slope?

What's frightening to me is that if the ban was reversed, even if there was eye witness proof and videos on tik tok evidencing their wrongdoings, the press would still manipulate the reporting to make it seem that they are the victims, while the local Muslim communities are the the awful perpetrators. And the Muslims would just have to accept it along with all the other daily gaslighting the community is subjected to by the abhorrent journalists in this country.

I’m not using religious descriptions because that is the point. They are banning support based on the anti Israel sentiment of the local Muslim population. I haven’t seen bans for the Christians of Bologna or the Muslims of Galatasaray. Now they have proper hooligan elements.

There is a distinct reshaping of the truth on here. The Israeli fans were not safe in Birmingham.

The police said they couldn’t guarantee all areas would be covered. They feared a similar situation to Amsterdam where Israelis were attacked and hospitalised. Rather than think of a solution - the Muslim MP decided to try and ban them altogether.

Look at the speech of the culture secretary and prime minister. Both were incandescent with the ban.

They had randomly picked Muslims in Amsterdam to attack. That led to reprisal violence with some Dutch Jews attacked.
A huge Dutch police effort, involving 5,000 officers across three days, was needed to quell the trouble.

I think it’s clear those agitating for the ‘fans’ to come to the UK are not UK citizens. They do not care for this country and want to harm us.

Why else would they be pushing for foreign hooligans to fly into London and cause mayhem from there all the way up to the Midlands, harming people, damaging property and requiring millions of pounds to police (which the country can’t afford).

Why are they trying to conflate normal British Jews with these foreign thugs? Which British Jews wish to see carnage all the way up the M1? If I were a British Jew I would be disgusted with being lumped in with foreign criminals. Same as I would be if I was a British Turk and agitators were trying to lump me in with Galatasary hooligans.

I think its the opposite actually. Apart from a sizeable contingent of apologists, its those of a foreign culture and religion that are agitating to import their grievances and bigotry, trying to set up defaqto no go zones.

The history of Maccabi fans and their racist violent behaviour is not centered just around Amsterdam. Neither was 2024 the start of their vile behaviour.

Salim Tuama, Mahran Radi, Athens, Antoine Conte, Larnaca, Barach Dego, Dino Ndlovu and more spanning many years.
We see their defenders for what they are.
