How do Brits feel about the fact that President Donald Trump is angry at Kier Starmer for how he is mistreating the British people because Trump feels very protective of the Brits?

You mean antifa who are causing trouble? America are lucky they have ICE. People have had enough of the far left thinking they can riot and destroy.

No, I mean the actual thugs. You know, the ones with masks and guns chucking tear gas at elementary schools. Not figments of the Tangerine Tyrant's imagination.

So many totally uneducated people on mouthing off on here as usual. I'm glad we have Trump paying attention to what's going here in the UK. We need all the help we can get.

This. It’s interesting when I ask people which particular trump policies they object to the answer I usually get is ‘the man’s an idiot’, ‘the man’s a racist’. They don’t have a clue - just repeating msm rhetoric.
We should all be grateful trump is fond of the UK. It’s what got us the trade deal with the US.

Worse than the last Tory government? Really???

So much worse. It’s not even close. What we have now is calamitous. The damage they are causing is immeasurable. They are so far out of their depth it’s embarrassing.

Worse than Truss??

Serpentstooth · 15/10/2025 23:17

Trump is certifiable and should be pensioned off.

WilfredsPies · 15/10/2025 23:18

I’m pretty sure that the only thing Trump is protective over are his own best interests.

But he does have a point. We’ve not been blessed with the most capable bunch of people to lead us out of the chaos caused by the last lot.

Trump has always been a nasty fascistic leader but he actually genuinely seems to be suffering quite noticeable cognitive decline at this point.

And he didn’t start off with much.

Erosion of freedom of speech
Unilateral criminalisation of constitutionally protected expression he disagrees with

Erosion of states rights
Erosion of due process

How about:
a) he's a sex offender,
who
b) is helping out his sex offender buddy by moving her to a nicer jail and sending his officials to go have chats with her about what she can do for him.

If you want things which actually look vaguely like government policies, rather than like a personal protection racket, then you could start with his sending troops onto the streets of the US to act against US citizens – but only in Democrat areas. He's been doing it with the National Guards so far, which has been (IIRC successfully) challenged in court because calling out the National Guard is the state governors' prerogative except in very limited circumstances. But he gave a speech to the US armed forces a week a or two ago saying he's planning to send the US army against US citizens too.

Although "the man's an idiot" is also true...

Trump can go fuck himself. HTH.

Levels below that in part due to the length of time they’ve got ahead of them which will only serve to make it almost impossible to recover from what they’ve caused for a very long time indeed.

The social and economic collapse they are engineering will be irreversible in many of our lifetimes.

MoFadaCromulent · 15/10/2025 23:32

Also the fact he doesn't even know who one of the most important figures in political history, Mr Habeas Corpus, is.

JurassicPark4Eva · 15/10/2025 23:34

Performative horseshit from yet another insecure elderly white man with more power than he has ever deserved.

zazazaaar · 15/10/2025 23:35

Even my racist FIL has gone of Farage because of this obvious links with Trump.
That is pretty bad!

XWKD · 15/10/2025 23:36

They laugh when the orange baboon opens its mouth, as with any circus animal.

DeemonLlama · 15/10/2025 23:36

So a misogynistic racist rapist who is on a mission to remove all women's rights in his own country and turn it into a dictatorship feels that people in GB are being treated badly?....erm right. As others have eloquently put it, what a twat!

zazazaaar · 15/10/2025 23:41

Really?
Worse than Cameron who allowed Brexit to happen and has damaged our economy for decades.
Worse than Johnson? Who lowered our reputation across the world and allowed wide spread corruption deepening mistrust in out political system paving the way for Farage.
Worse than Truss who caused a worsening of our financial situation.
Unless you are a bit dim you will falm for the right wing presses rhetoric.

RitaFromThePitCanteen · 15/10/2025 22:50

Load of bullshit. As if we as a country desperately need the condecension of a rapist. We have enough problems as it is.
American politicians (plus Elon, whatever the fuck he is) need to keep their noses out and take a look at their own countries before they start trying to meddle in ours.

Elon Musk is an immigrant to the US from a highly misogynist African culture, who paid millions to put Donald Trump in office and then (unelected) ran parts of the US until the pair of them fell out.

He is now appearing on screens in the UK threatening us with violence (in a "nice little country, shame if anything happened to it" way) and using his millions to tell us what to think.

He's attempting to import to the UK the swart gevaar techniques he grew up with, which were used to keep white South Africans (the only voters) scared and toeing the line in order to continue the decades-long rule of the Nats.

He's a twat, too.

temperedolive · 15/10/2025 23:47

I can live without the protection of a felonious rapist, thanks.

Urgh, Vance is the same. It’s bad boyfriend vibes… I don’t want you taking decisions I disapprove of because I love you so much. Boak.

“I will send a fully armed battalion to remind you of my love” and all that.

@Libra1509 did you go to Cambridge in the end?

JHound · 15/10/2025 23:50

The Orangutan is an idiot. His obsession with Britain is weird af.
