To now be increasingly concerned about illegal boat arrivals

1000 replies

CalmShaker · 14/10/2025 21:33

I've kept a level head with boat crossing arrivals but recently I've become concerned that there are some really unpleasant people being let in. This story was hard to watch on the news this evening;

Asylum seeker 'murdered hotel worker Rhiannon Whyte in frenzied attack' - BBC News https://share.google/qxzed2MD19TYPKasQ

I welcome genuine asylum but I don't believe that is what is happening anymore.
The story immediately before the above on national news this evening was the migrant who had threatened Nigel Farrage. I know Nigel is not the most popular of people but the migrant was horrid, clearly dangerous and not safe to be on our streets.
Financial cost and all other factors aside, it's the safety aspect that worry me most.

I truely hate the contemporary woke middle class ( white) left as they are clearly the worst people on earth In that that they are the most privileged in human history and stand for nothing.
And happy to destroy anything good about this history or culture whole claiming a moral high ground.

All they have is empty and hollow virtue signalling and language policing to stop any form debate that questions their personal comfort. Perpetually Self congratulating and smug whilst not able to accept nuance or concieve of someone's world view that isnt their own - without making that 'bad' and 'dangerous'- the black and white binary they claim to hate . these idiots are literally the twat fascists they are scared of their own 'shadow' ( literally, bc they refuse their own 'darkness' or anything that isn't service level 'kind')

If they did have any integrity they could connect dots between these issues without claiming 'race'

It's neo liberalism you utter cunts the same thing that made your cheating husbands and self righteous children suddenly rich in the last 40years

Instead they want to smugly point out your 'racism' is offending them, while they reduce the subject to skin colour bc they can't interact with the idea in any other way- now no one else can. Again, reducing it to a 'black/white/good/bad' binary and produce circular arguments and downwards spiral.

Whilst claiming to be Marxists and say the workers of the world will rise up ' the working class are quite vocal- but their not saying the right thing...

and anyone who claims ' we need immigration because of cheap labour' - THAT IS FUCKING RACIST !!!
why should other races be okay with doing shit jobs and creating another class system.

How about listening to workers when they strike agasint bad/dangerous working conditions - instead of undercutting them with ' cheap labour '

Cheap fucking labour is no way to describe a fucking human and how long before your cheap fucking labour realises they'd rather form a union as well.

Totally agree.
They want to import a peasant class to wipe their asses in old age, pick their strawberries, do their gardening, sweep their streets and clean their homes and have the audacity to say anyone who wants checks and limits on immigration are the racist ones! You couldn't make it up.

AInightingale · 21/10/2025 12:11

The same people who want to import a new underclass are also very keen on knee-taking and vocal about the evils of slavery and the exploitation and degradation of the African-American population in years gone by. But they'd quite willingly have people from the Third World in the fields for twelve hours a day here, living in bunkhouses and earning a pittance. Slaughtering animals, dealing with our literal shit. I find it mind-boggling.

My friend always says she wants to ask the various governments and the left who keep shouting for more of this just how many murders/ rapes/ sexual assaults etc are acceptable.

She says she’d like a number of how many victims are acceptable in the name of ‘inclusivity’ and ‘kindness’.

I mean the pro asylum lot on here never respond when I post yet another article about a woman or girl being raped, assaulted or murdered. They’re shielded by money - they live in nice streets, their kids won’t be vulnerable to grooming or opportunistic predators. They’re absolutely despicable

Until they will be. Vulnerable I mean.

A 17 year old (she had just turned 17 the week before) German girl who came from a ‘good family background’ was stabbed with her boyfriend on a train in 2023.

By a Palestinian who shouldn’t even have been in the country anymore.

They'll say that British men rape and murder too, and that we're most in danger from men we know.
Where that argument falls flat is why we'd then want more dangerous men on top of that?
Oh and we're racist for noticing.

I know, the stupidity is mind blowing.

The German girl I was talking about was called Ann-Marie Kyrath and her father has become a very outspoken critic of our government’s failed asylum policy.

And he is so dignified when he speaks. He said his wife is in therapy, but speaking out and trying to prevent further deaths is his way of coping with it.

Not that it’s helping much as the new coalition is still very much operating an open door policy.

If you’re in Germany @sunflower1022and @EmeraldShamrock000is in Ireland it just shows how much gaslighting there is from politicians. We get a lot about being in the EU would fix it when it clearly is an issue for EU countries still.

Just generally the amount of excuses are madness.

He sounds very brave btw and her story is so sad. All of these stories are heartbreaking.

SpaceRaccoon · 21/10/2025 16:33

@sunflower1022 you know I hadn't even heard of that case. It's horrifying, they should have been safe. What's blown my mind is this:

"From September 2015 to January 2021, there had been 24 preliminary and criminal proceedings against Ibrahim A. The charges listed included theft, fraud, dangerous bodily harm, drugs, sexual harassment, damage to property, child abuse, rape of persons unfit to resist, driving without a license, and trespassing."

Yet he was allowed to stay. And that's the norm, not the exception. Stay in a country whose legal system was designed when the country was a low-crime, largely agrarian, monoculture society, so they do this heinous shit and get derisory sentences, and people wind up dead, and nothing gets done, and rinse and repeat.

I see this man got life in prison but it's too late for the murdered couple. His motivation, allegedly "Anger and frustration at his personal situation". Yeah sure - we all get hugely frustrated at our personal situations, at times - most of us don't go and stab strangers.

Well we could say that about anyone couldn’t we? Transwomen, men on day release or parole, sex offenders who have managed to work in schools and gain access to their victims. Let’s just remove all safeguarding and filtering because ‘men rape’. 🙄

I actually live in the UK now @EasternStandard (my husband is British) but your point stands nonetheless.

And do you know what’s really infuriating/ frightening? The fact that Ann-Marie’s father said once he’d gained a bit of ‘fame’ for speaking out, he received messages from 300 (!!!) parents who had suffered the same fate (some of them never even made the news.

And no, being in the EU would not fix this either.

Look at Meloni. When she was trying to return criminal migrants she was overruled by the Supreme Court in Rome (if I remember correctly).

I am so, so sick of all this shit and the stupid blasé first answer to the OP just shows what a mess we’re in.

Where are all the deniers and apologists?

Too busy sighing and yawning?

Go on, tell us what you think.

sunflower1022 · 21/10/2025 17:41

Tell us why letting hordes of undocumented males into the country is a good thing. Especially for women and girls. When everyone on Mumsnet is supposedly a Feminist.

Please tell us.

And no, I don’t want to hear more of the ‘They’re not all like that, most are hard working and want to integrate’ bull.

I want to hear what you would say to people like Ann-Marie’s father.

Too bad? How could we have known?

You are all complicit in this.

Democracy works. We will as a nation solve the problem of these illegals - don't worry. In the meantime be careful. Thre are a lot of unvetted people coming here illegally never mind a massive issue over 1.1m legal people coing here last year and 1.3m the year before - vast vast numbers the like of which we have never seen which affect some of us almost every day. I am now on night FOUR of continuous fireworks all over the place right by me from people who are so selfish they think their cultures should be imposed and their noise.

Yes those bl….dy fireworks

do they not have to go to work like the rest of us?

Yes quite, agreed, apparently we have boat loads of NHS doctors and nurses arriving every day. People desperate to pay taxes in the UK and work 60 hour weeks. Insanity and delusion.

Ah yes…the German government peddled that lie back in the day …Doctors and badly needed professionals arriving.

Meanwhile public pools have been closing in Germany due to no end of hassle over the past few years.

But of course it’s not true and we’re all racists/ bigots/ fascists.

There have been several cases in Germany where serious crimes were committed by rejected asylum seekers who shouldn’t have been in the country at the time of their crime.

One particular example I remember was in Solingen in summer 2024, where a Syrian national whose asylum claim had been rejected absconded on the scheduled day of his deportation to Bulgaria and later carried out a stabbing that killed three people and injured eight others.

I remember the doctors and engineers line.
I think it was really unnecessary and did more harm than good.
Had the government just said “We think it’s our duty to help those people, we have the capacity to do that (Merkel’s famous “wir schaffen das”), it would have been at least more or less honest.
Why claim that large numbers of them were badly needed experts?
Now, after ten years only about 64% of the working age refugees who came in 2015 are in employment (full-time, part-time, marginal, self-employed, or training-based work).
