What would you do if you were given £50k?

I’ve been daydreaming about winning the lottery and wondered what you would do with £50k? It obviously isn’t enough to retire on, so what would you do with it?

I think I would deposit a chunk into my S&S ISA, put some into my SIPP. Then, I’d top up my Emergency Fund and book some once in a lifetime trips.

Clear the last 3k of unsecured debt I racked up when DS was small and had to put childcare and rent on the credit card when DH and I split (I’ve paid off 30k in the last 5 years)

Clear the last few grand on my student loan

Put 10k in savings for DS

25k house deposit

5k in my pension or savings

Take DS to Mexico for 10 days- we’re both dying to go

Funny isn’t it, that 50k is nothing to lots of people, but would 100% change mine and DS’s lives!

Shove most of it into pensions/savings.

But also investigate weight loss injections. The cost is the main thing stopping me.

Pay off my credit card and fix my teeth.
Whatever was left for savings.
