Being a Christian I don't think I can celebrate the murder of anyone. Sorry, I wasn’t suggesting Scotland has it easy or doesn’t have shitty old rat hole prisons too. I just meant it is easier to separate and have allocated wings for VPs/Protection when you have the security level system and 90% less prisoners to juggle.

The fact a lot of our Cat As are in old Victorian prisons with any newly built establishments are being given to the “super” establishment models that cater for cat C males and YOs, makes segregation by offence impossible.

The fact people don’t realise they often mingle just fine in general population is probably a good thing. It helps to believe that these men give a shit about anything other than their status and their wallets.

How can one person leave so much misery in his wake? The details that came after his sentencing might qualify as the worst thing I think I've ever read.

The true ones to suffer are his child victims who I hope are now able to gain some small sense of comfort, closure and relief. But I also spare a thought for his former bandmates and the family who raised him.
