My thoughts are with the Jewish community on the second anniversary of this barbaric attack.

In a nutshell.

Yup. In many ways the Jewish community are just as much victims of Netanyahu and his supporters as the Palestinians are. His actions have undoubtedly fuelled anti semitism and led them to be targets as reprisal for something they aren’t necessarily responsible for.

Isn't there an inhumane pro-hamas demonstration you could be attending today instead of wasting your bile on here?

You are being totally disrespectful.

I don't understand? I didn't mention anything about the Hostages.

Apologies, you quoted a person talking about palestinian 'hostages' aka prisoners and you replied that wouldnt have happened if not for oct 7. I suppose my reply was to them but also to make you aware that those people being imprisoned is mostly unrelated to the Oct 7 attacks. They had previously been convicted of terror offenses.

I’ve just heard on the news that there are going to be demonstrations across the country today.

It beggars belief, it really does.

Best not to feed the attention seeker. It doesn't deserve the attention it seeks.

Love and prayers with the Jewish community worldwide

Agreed.

People can disagree but also should be willing to be open to understanding everyone's pain.

Ok so according to you, on the one hand jews arent responsible for anti semitism, but also on the other hand, they are, so therefore, what do they expect? Do you actually read what you are saying?

Yes, and I stand by it. I recognise not every Jewish people necessarily has an identical view on politics. No more than every Christian or every Muslim.

You do realise this was the worst attack on the Jewish community since the Holocaust?

I’m guessing you think 9/11 wouldn’t have deserved a post either? Or the attacks of 07/07 in London?

Thank you for this, OP. Two terrible years.
I hope that the hostage families get peace soon. 💛

Someone living in Muswell Hill told me that a young woman was cutting down the yellow ribbons on a hostage memorial site.
Why would you even do that?
How much hate is there that you can't even leave yellow ribbons to remember hostages?
Unbelievable.

MrsBennetsPoorNervesAreBack · 07/10/2025 09:55

@JodieTatum, I care deeply about the plight of the Palestinian people, but you seem to be more interested in using the suffering of the Palestinians as a vehicle for expressing your own vile antisemitism. On today of all days.

If you truly cared about genocide because you hate to see innocent people suffering, then you would have been utterly devastated by the horrific massacre of innocent Jews on this day two years ago. Instead, you only care about the Palestinians in so far as you believe it entitles you to make shitty comments on threads that have been started to honour and remember the innocent victims of the Hamas attack. You should be ashamed of yourself. Where is your humanity?

As a pp has said, it is possible to have compassion for innocent victims on both sides of this awful conflict. And if you can't at least be respectful, then you need to fuck off to another thread.

So? She's commemorating this event. Maybe if you start a thread on some awful event, the OP will chip in about the Israeli hostages?

Honestly, I was so disgusted. I just thought - why couldn't she just walk past?.
