I have an essay to write
I would rather practice my piano
I don't want to work any more
I want to sit under a blanket and watch Netflix
I am so over this working for a living lark

Why else don't you want to go to work tomorrow?

Me too! I don’t want to go to work tomorrow as have a horrendous backlog and all the £s just goes on bills. If work was so great the rich would’ve kept more of it for themselves!

Because I'm knackered.
Because I am tired of having the same conversations over and over again.
Because even though I love my job, it is mentally exhausting at the minute.
Because I want to bake scones and cook soup.
Because DD is at loggerheads with DH and me, and I want a day of quiet.

Because my electric, heating & water went off because of the storm on Friday afternoon and is still not fixed

I’m cold, unwashed, unable to use a toilet, have lost the contents of my fridge & freezer (and I’d just done an M&S shop before it went off)

Totally fed up and unprepared for returning to work tomorrow

I would feel exactly the same in your situation. 🤦‍♀️

Because I have lots of meetings and I’m fed up of being the manager and I just want a demotion and for everyone just to leave me alone

You could cut the atmosphere with a knife at the moment. I’m working alone, which makes the hours drag and drag. I wish I could take the dog with me, but for no real reason whatsoever I can’t

Having worked for last 29 years, pretty much full time, I've had enough! Would quite happily just hang out on the sofa.

Just under 15 years to go and I'll hopefully be bailing out at 60.

I want to stay at home with my dog.
The government keep piling more and more work on us while refuse to engage in annual pay rise discussions and sending out emails thanking us for our hard work at the difficult time. Don’t thank us, pay us!
I have autism, depression, SAD on top of that and anorexia and it’s all a bit much at the moment.
I have 2 books I want to read.
It’s cold, windy and rainy.
I get angsty sat at a desk most of the day doing paperwork instead of working with the people we’re meant to work with.
I want to exercise and walk my dog instead.

Probation by any chance? 😆

Because I’m having a flare up of my chronic health problems, I feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. And also because I’m waiting for the result of an investigation as I fucked up because I’m endlessly busy, tired and ill. Can someone go for me please!!
