I have an essay to write
I would rather practice my piano
I don't want to work any more
I want to sit under a blanket and watch Netflix
I am so over this working for a living lark

Why else don't you want to go to work tomorrow?

Because my manager is a stuck-up idiot who is annoying me so much I wake up in the night getting angry about all the things she says that are simply lies. She is also pushing more work on to me, saying she has too much work herself, but no one knows what she is actually doing. I can't stand her and I'm so unhappy, but there are no jobs around that I can apply for at the moment. Just the thought of seeing her tomorrow makes me want to cry.

because I spent the weekend recovering from tonsillitis, while DP had a massive frustrating phone call with his ex regarding their DC so our sex life and elusive childfree weekend time together was shafted. She doesn't see the point in their DC having to resit GCSE English, as she has no concerns with his English ability despite he needs to do it to stay in 6th form, which he scraped into, and that any future employer worth their salt won't look at anything less than a 5.

The weekends are just flying by at the moment. Always seems like no time from Friday eve to Sunday pm

I just can’t cope with the stress of my job any longer. I feel anxious constantly and can’t see any way out other than actually quitting, which I’d love to do but I need money. I don’t enjoy it any more, I’ve lost all motivation, and I hate the clients.

Because I'm a primary TA and the work I'm expected to do far exceeds my pay, but if I say no the kids lose out. There are no jobs around so I can't leave.
I want to stay home and bake, knit, crochet and read. I wish I could afford to retire, no chance of that for a long time to come.

Because it’s only my second day back after a years maternity leave and I would rather be at home with my babies
because it’s been a busy weekend and I want to have a relaxing day
because the house is a state and there’s huge mountains of washing and ironing to do and I want to sort it out

Because I resigned last week and now have to work my 3 months notice. No chance of garden leave as the company is already understaffed. It’s going to be a long three months…

i really dislike the people I work with and am sick of being the person people only come to with their problems.
i want to binge watch House of Guinness on Netflix.
my son is playing a gig near us tomorrow night and I want to spend time with him instead.

I don't want to go to work tomorrow because I'm expecting to hear about an interview date for another job. I struggle with change and although I think doing this interview/potentially getting a new job is good for me and my career, I'm terrified of succeeding.

Because if I go to work I will never get that time back.

I will working on a high pressure project for the next two weeks and I still haven't recovered from burning out in the summer

My boss is back from leave Tomo and will be all refreshed and chirpy and expect me to be the same

I have a big presentation to do tomorrow and it's not ready because I spent most of last week picking up other people's work and problems

I am astounded that I still have to work for a living and haven't won the right to live a life of leisure.

I loved my job. I was good at it.
I was made redundant last month.
I would give anything to have that Sunday evening back to work feeling 🙁

I'm self employed and need a break. Not a single day off since Christmas, even when I tried to escape for a holiday for a week 😭

Because there are too many badly behaved children, too many useless parents, no money for enough support staff to cope with the numerous issues, and members of the SLT are unhelpful and/or incompetent.
