What a lowlife scumbag. He should be deported.

zazazaaar · 03/10/2025 16:11

What a vile thing to say. He has created a monster.

HermioneWeasley · 03/10/2025 16:16

It’s hardly surprising is it, terrorists aren’t created in a vacuum.

agree, he should be deported. We need to be much much tougher on the terrorists and their enablers in our society. Anyone on a M15 watch list who has dual citizenship or not born here should be removed.

His statement regarding his son commiting terrorism yesterday

"The news from Manchester regarding the terrorist attack targeting a Jewish synagogue has been a profound shock to us.
“The al-Shamie family in the UK and abroad strongly condemns this heinous act, which targeted peaceful, innocent civilians. We fully distance ourselves from this attack and express our deep shock and sorrow over what has happened. Our hearts and thoughts are with the victims and their families, and we pray for their strength and comfort.
“We kindly request that all media outlets respect the family’s privacy during this very difficult time and refrain from using this tragic event in any context that does not reflect the truth. May God have mercy on the innocent victims, and we pray for the swift recovery of the injured.”

Seems quite contradictory doesn't it?

Was it a shock? After he changed his name to Jihad? Absolutely no warning signs?

According to UK Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood, Jihad al-Shamie was born with his name and it was not a name he adopted later in life.

Encyclopedia Britannica on the word 'jihad':

"Jihad, in Islam, a meritorious struggle or effort. The exact meaning of the term jihād depends on context; it has often been erroneously translated in the West as “holy war.” Jihad, particularly in the religious and ethical realm, primarily refers to the human struggle to promote what is right and to prevent what is wrong."

Definition of ETHICAL

of or relating to ethics; involving or expressing moral approval or disapproval; conforming to accepted standards of conduct… See the full definition

Didn't they come over as refugees? And this is how they repay the country that gave them sanctuary?!

The name Jihad has nothing to do with being a terrorist.

My god the world is such a toxic place.

Sick of all this unnecessary violence and suffering - religious wars for gods sake, is this something we really need in the UK in 2025?

Apparently he's abroad as he is volunteering as a trauma surgeon in South Sudan. A sad thing about Muslim anti-semitism is that it is very common even among smart, high-income Muslims. This father is on paper perfectly integrated- a doctor trained in Syria and Britain, currently helping some of the world’s most vulnerable people, with 2 out of his 3 sons being similarly well-educated men in the medical professions. And yet….

When did Britain become so soft? We were so strong in World War 2. Now we let people walk all over us and they laugh at what a soft touch we've become.

What's scary is the amount of British people who despite being presented with the level of hate these people have they still defend them. Mind boggling really.

Yes, weak minded useful idiots. Although they're also motivated by fear.

But things are changing. People are starting to wake up to what's happening to Britain.

And these are the people the government are determined to have over into Britain. Thousands of them 🙄 and anyone who objects is called 'far right'.

Why?
Why them?
Why now?
Why?

No it isn’t. Jihad is not a very uncommon name. Please don’t be so ignorant.

Thousands of which people? Spit it out and say exactly the demographic you mean.

It's not about how common the name is, it's what the name represents

CopperWhite · 03/10/2025 17:21

It’s a war with two sides.

Do you believe that there is no one in Israel that praises the actions of the Israeli government? Their state sanctioned form of cruelty and killing is far worse and on a much bigger scale than anything that happened on October 7th.
