I mean, how many sweets must Haribo sell, to be able to afford to show their irritating ads SO often?

The Varisure ads. A nursery nativity play is more convincing than that rubbish.

Oddly I liked the ones for ....was it Go Compare? where everyone, including a cat sitting on a wall, sprouted a waxed moustache. I think it was a reference back to the original GC adds with the 'Italian' tenor.

I loved that cat!

Any ones where they dance, why? The fage one in particular, especially since you can't get hold of my favourite 2%for love nor money.also the funeral ones so depressing, the trifle one is awful.

And the one where they returned Dad's ashes and stayed for a cup of tea!

The simple cremation plan my cousin had for my auntie definitely wasn't like that. They were allowed to stand outside the chapel door as coffin went through, but not go in 😳

Haven't saw Derek and June(sun life)for a bit.
Perhaps they got it on and have a lovenest somewhere.

It'd be quicker to tell you the one ad I DO like- the TK Max on with the cat with a shoe for a hat! I think it's quite funny and that's rare these days!
Otherwise , I find most ads to be inane, boring, annoying or even disgusting (period blood, cartoon poos , that great long Andrex ad about women pooing during labour, period "gush" and women wetting themselves! Why? Just why?) When did advertisers and businesses decide being so crude and vulgar will sell their products? We know what period blood and poo etc. look like, we don't need to have them shoved in our faces like that when we're trying to relax and unwind with a bit of telly! Yuk!
The one that is really annoying me at the moment though is the smart meter one with Sarah Cox and the old fella playing Albert Einstein! It's trying to be funny but it's just not! I have to mute it now, it gets on my nerves so much!

I thought the ad for Robinson's squash had gone away, but irritatingly, it's back.
Mum makes all the right noises when spoken to about son's silly, disruptive behaviour, then, when they get home, soles out the dissolved Enumbers and lapses into conspiratorial giggles with him.
I doubt that the teacher would have taken the trouble to take her aside "for a chat" unless he was being a thorough-going nuisance. life's too short, so her behaviour is undermining at the least. The child needs a parent, not a partner in crime (who may well be panicking in a few years' time, when her lovable wee rogue is beyond her control.

I was coming back on to mention the revolting Andrex one, but I see someone mentioned it a little further up! Just why do we need to know and see that?! And the fact it goes on so long. Just no.
The cat with the shoe hat is my favourite though, it's like something my two would do! 🤣

Is that the one where he is digging on the beach and he shouts out "IT'S A HOE!" and she has to act like his mother and nod encouragingly?
