Charlie Kirk- and the reality

Tandora · 13/09/2025 20:14

So here we are- they have a suspect.
The very little we know about his politics suggests he was likely to be right wing, and came from a family/ culture that supported Trump. He also is said to be an introvert, in to video games , and possibly quite mentally unwell.

So there we have it- fancy that - when you live in a context where people have access to guns and some minority of people are not well, people get shot.

Nothing to do with the evils of the “left”. Nothing to do with trans people or “trans ideology”. Just senseless violence, because people who are not well have access to guns.

So what are we going to take/ learn from this?

My point is - if you’re in a country where any Tom, Dick or Harry can get hold of a gun and you’re espousing those kinds of things, then you should be aware that it’s not beyond the realms of a possibility that one day someone might get very upset with you over it and want revenge. He knew that, and I think you do as well. I didn’t say it was right, I said it’s a very real risk.

Yep fair enough. And now reading up about this groyper mob. Sometimes I think we should just yeet the whole planet into the sun.

I’d never heard of them until today, maybe yesterday?

They seem very unhinged, and contradictory

Same - never heard of them until yesterday. Seems a bit pointless trying to separate these loonies into alt-right and alt-left - should just be a general unhinged bucket.

From what I heard he was voicing opinions further to the right of his family’s views.

I’ve not seen that written anywhere, all I have seen has been the opposite.
Where did you see that please.

GoldThumb · 14/09/2025 03:09

@InWalksBarberalla
Yep!

I’ve seen the expression ‘chronically online’ used a lot in the last few days, which is so fitting, so from now on they are all UCOs to me.

Unhinged Chronically Onlines

𝐓𝐘𝐋𝐄𝐑 𝐑𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐀𝐒 𝐀 “𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐓 𝐊𝐈𝐃”

One of Tyler Robinson’s high school classmates just dropped the most telling description yet:
𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘢 𝘸𝘦𝘪𝘳𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘥𝘥𝘪𝘵 𝘬𝘪𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘴𝘩** 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘸𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴.

That’s it right there. Reddit, TikTok, BlueSky — liberal cesspools that radicalize bored kids into thinking they’re “freedom fighters” when really they’re just pawns. Tyler wasn’t some genius mastermind. He was a mentally weak product of leftist echo chambers online.

The internet is no joke — it’s a pipeline that takes weird, lonely kids and feeds them poison until they snap. And in this case, Charlie Kirk and his family paid the price.

Those of you with kids - get them off those online groups... they truly are cesspools of malice and ill-intent.

I think what you have written is the nearest to what anyone is saying.
I can see him sitting in jail now thinking what have I done, how did I get here.
Its all fine and dandy while you are living in some fantasy land being egged on online. Now look where it has got him.

Where are you reading anything that suggests the shooter was “left wing”?

OP is a bit desperate to prove something here, even though the picture is still says that he was a far left fanatic. It’s like the left don’t like being found out. Like they think that the rest of of us can’t see past the ‘be kind’ facade. No, we see the hypocritical nastiness. It’s as clear as day.

What says he was a “far left fanatic?”

Why are all online rabbit holes that kids gravitate towards ‘’leftist cesspools?’’. I mean, I can bet there is a correlation between MAGA supporters and conspiracy theorists, given there is most definitely a correlation between right wingers and conspiracy theorists in the U.K. I wonder how many flat Earthers and Anti vaxxers follow MAGA? Or how about Andrew Tate? Are they not more right wing ‘’anti establishment?’’

I know 100% there is a relationship between right wing views, social isolation and self hatred. It’s been studied. That’s why they latch on to those sorts of views, because they feel so miserable with their lives insecure with their sense of self that they need to punch down on minority groups to feel good about themselves.

Now, I’m not suggesting that weird, lonely kids don’t ever adopt extreme left wing ideology or are not chronically online, but to suggest it’s only ‘’weird leftist cesspools’’ is absolutely hilarious and totally lacking in self awareness of your own side 😂

The suspect is not right wing. Where did you get that?

He described Kirk as a fascist and had woke/trans/antifa slogans on his bullets.

The claims about the bullets are online rumours

I’ve been shocked at the dismissiveness people have shown towards someone being murdered just because they don’t share the same opinions. That’s not including the outright glee and celebrations that others have opted for.

I disagreed with Kirk on almost everything but it’s been eye opening to see people’s reaction to his being killed.

Murder is murder. It was wrong of anyone to celebrate his murder.

The reality is that the man himself promoted violence: he was pro gun and anti-choice (I cannot bring myself to write pro life because that certainly is not a pro life stance), fundamentally racist, misogynistic, and a religious extremist. His Turning Point USA organisation is directly responsible for the radicalisation of millions of young Americans. And it's trying to spread its tentacles into the UK.
He also never shied away from gloating over other people's death and misfortune.
He is a martyr to people who espouse those same views.
Some people have made comments which have got them fired from their workplace, but the religious nutjobs calling for their blood, those nutjobs who hold sway in this administration and spread hate in America right now day in day out surely understand this verse: "Put your sword back in its place: for all who take the sword will perish by the sword" (Matthew 26:52)

Lol. Nah. He was a gay man living with a man who identifies as trans and was as left wing as they come.

Had a trans boyfriend, called Charlie a “fascist”, confirmed leftist by friends and family, confirmed leftist by top officials on the record, including the governor.
His family are conseratives. He was not. Very common for kids to rebel against their parents, which is what he did.

"Tyler Robinson, the suspect accused of fatally shooting conservative Charlie Kirk this week, had left-leaning political views, according to Utah Gov. Spencer Cox".

“It’s very clear to us and to the investigators that this was a person who was deeply indoctrinated with leftist ideology,” Cox told The Wall Street Journal in an article published Saturday morning."

https: // thehill.com / homenews / state-watch / 5502176-kirk-murder-suspect-leftist-cox-report?

But, let's be honest, the OP and everyone pretending not to know this already knew the terrorist murderer of Charlie Kirk was left leaning as they come.

You won't do this, but if you had an ounce of decency in you, you would ask to have this garbage thread deleted.

But then again, decent people don't try anything and everything to deflect, derail and blame when a man is slaughtered in front of kids. Decent people just keep their gobs shut except to say "sorry a terrorist slaughtered this man".

There are two things at play here: one is the murder of a man in a particularly loathsome and brutal manner. On that level, what happened is absolutely wrong.
And there's the political debate. The ideals that the man preached, and that his widow said would not die with him but spread all the more... those ideals, no decent person can keep their gob shut about them. And decent people don't attempt to stamp down free speech.

Bloody hell you like your labels you don’t you.
If you think he was a religious extremist you don’t know much about religious extremist around the world.
I don’t see his organisation as being a radicalisation of young people more a balance of the right against the left radicalisation.
How exactly has he gloated over other’s misfortune.
I understand quite a few people have lost their jobs because of really vile comments they have made online.I wouldn’t say that it is religious nutjobs that have been reporting them but ordinary people who are appalled at the terrible things said about a terrible murder.
You can hardly call them religious nutjobs when people have lost their jobs when they have rightly been reported to their employer for racist behaviour.

Every single one of those 'labels' as you call them can be substantiated. Just watch his podcasts. It's all out there in thousands of hours of speeches and videos.
As for 'extremist', yes, those views are extreme. If you don't see that you don't know much about religion. His stance was an attempt to aggressively evangelise along literal and extremist - I would even say heretic- lines.

Tyler Robinson's loving mother sent her normal son away to college, and he came out, a radical Antifa leftist. Living a culture of death and a lifestyle of impunity.

Oh give up.
He was only there one semester. And the path of radicalisation from conservative to far right to far far right Kirk-doesn't-hate-jews-enough is clear and obvious to anyone familiar with cess pit Internet culture.

That's a whole lot of unfounded speculation and wishful thinking.

There is a big divide here between those familiar with the extremist violent culture of the American far right and those who aren't.
