THEY ARE ALL THUGS FOLLOWING EACH OTHER LIKE SHEEP. THE FAR-RIGHT SAYS DO THIS, AND THEY ACT. GET EDUCATED.

OP posts:
QueenOfHiraeth · 06/09/2025 08:29

One could say the same of people who post ignorant comments suggesting people who have a different opinion to them are part of some giant homogeneous group.
Education is needed by some on both sides of whatever debate it is you think you are having here

What on earth are you shouting about? Who is the they in this context? Concentration Camp guards? - you're spot on. Football fans? - you're probably close?

thebabayaga2025 · 06/09/2025 08:33

Yelling in all caps for your whole post, and calling everyone who disagrees with you a thug or sheep makes you sound very bigoted and not terribly bright, tbh.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 06/09/2025 08:34

Yanbu

Its terrifying

Whats also terrifying is the loudness of these far right psychos on mumsnet, thinking that their views are anything but insane 🤢🤢

DoinFineIThink · 06/09/2025 08:35

YABU for all the caps shouting, but not in what you say.

What I find terrifying is people who think their views are right and anyone else who thinks differently is wrong.

CoffeeCantata · 06/09/2025 08:46

All political extremists are like this - not just the far right.

There is a difference between thinking differently and being a Tommy Robinson supporter

The right is a non homogeneous group whose views should be respected. (within reason) The far right is made up of mostly prescribed groups because they threaten the laws of our country and often support terrorist actions. We should stop pandering to the far right and letting them think their opinions are valid and equal.

Ditto with the left and far left

Beachwalksinwinter · 06/09/2025 10:44

I think you are BU only because of the CAPITALS and the shout. However The right-wing shrills are everywhere on MN at the moment - 'Labour is not working' being a prime example. Lots of opportunity to spread disinformation under a banner of 'let's have a friendly discussion about the government'

Unlike the Labour shrills on the Starmer threads or on here then?

ainsleysanob · 06/09/2025 10:48

You could have used this opportunity to write eloquently and with passion about your views and why you think your views are the right ones. Instead, you used it as an opportunity to shout at everyone about, well, not much.

I would concentrate on why Labour are doing so badly and lobby them to improve, rather than just blame other threads on MN. If Labour were doing great then we wouldn't need a "Labour aren't working" thread would we?
Fix thine own house etc

ComfortFoodCafe · 06/09/2025 10:53

One could say the same for the left. Why the caps? You just look uneducated- missed the opportunity op.

Dinosaurshoebox · 06/09/2025 10:53

I think it would be far more beneficial for everyone else to get educated on how to communicate effectively tively with the Farage supporters and be willing to work towards achieving what they want effectively.

Which when you break it down is usually quite simple.

They aren't wrong. And if they become the majority they effectively surely become right and win.

twistyizzy · 06/09/2025 10:57

@Mollybarbaracom here are Labour approval ratings etc
1% think Labour are doing a really good job and fewer than 1% think things will get much better in the next year. The majority of people polled think the country is in a bad state at the moment and that it will get worse in the next year.

Maybe the problem isn't everyone else......? Maybe it's you?

You do realise that it's against talk guidelines to TAAT? Thanks for the free advertisement though. I am the op of that thread.

Are we all 'right-wing shrills' as you put it? Or do those who don't like Labour represent how most of the country feel about this failing government? Labour should concentrate on getting their own house in order.

Ilikewinter · 06/09/2025 11:07

Ermmm OK. I'm going to bet that the OP doesn't come back!

Labour could walk on water, eliminate poverty, invent post-it notes, negotiate an end to every conflict on Earth, and win the 'Miss World' contest, and there would still be threads complaining about Labour (or any other party of government). Just as there are always threads chiding people for NOT voting for/supporting Labour and accusing non-Labour voters of voting Conservative, as if no other parties exist. And just as there's always an active thread on Scotsnet where posters assume that everyone thinks that the SNP are archvillains and criminals, until some fanny rides up on her Huffy and tells everybody off because the SNP are angels sent from heaven.

These threads are useless because the truth is always somewhere in the middle, but ultras on both sides will spank shame anyone who tries to go there. Plus the hyperbole (and often the self-righteous, scornful language) is immediately off-putting to anyone who's not a purist/extremist.

Desperate to know who the 1% are who think it’s going great

smallglassbottle · 06/09/2025 11:37

The right may have their problems, but it feels like this government are dragging us all to hell. It's going to get worse as well, so hang onto your hats.

People swallow the rhetoric that Left = Virtue and the Right = Greedy and Evil. This is simply not the case and history has shown us that the Left can be authoritarian, intolerant, cruel and self serving just like anyone else.

Totally! The far right wing on here tend to be single minded, obnoxious and descend very quickly into insults but the ‘lefties’ tend to not (in my opinion from reading mumsnet regularly). So I say fuck it and let’s have some shouty, personal, generalisations from the left for a change….. Maybe it’ll readdress the balance somewhat :-)
