To think Farage surely has to go

So Farage has some dodgy private company set up to avoid paying tax. Is he being pressured to resign as head of Reform? Of course not. Because he’s an entitled privileged man.

The double standards are incredible really. Here’s the story https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/sep/05/nigel-farage-uses-private-company-to-pay-less-tax-on-gb-news-earnings

While I think Rayner had to resign, why are the same standards not being applied?

Of course they are. Military barracks, stopping family reunification, harsher rhetoric.

It won’t work because people will just vote for Reform instead.

Well let's hope not.

If immigration falls significantly they won’t have a reason to. That’s what happens when you’re a one policy party.

Well.

I doubt she’ll work as a child minder again, or in any other regulated activity - not with that on her DBS.

Oh well. Play stupid games, etc.

She will be OK if she leaves the public sector behind. No doubt she knows how insular they are.

Stopping family reunification should have a big impact. Hopefully many of the men will be put off if they can't then bring their wives and children.

You need a DBS to work with children in a privately owned business too. It’s not ‘insular’ to insist on vetting for people to work with vulnerable groups.

Your political beliefs aside, in all of your posts you sound like a literal 12 year old child. No actual discussion or debate of any substance, just ‘Farage will be the next PM 😂😂😂😂’ ’no one’s interested’. You sound absolutely pathetic, clueless and immature. Just blind loyalty. I mean, it comes with the territory I guess. It’s all the grifter needs.

And these posters all sound the same. Insults and no discussion.

I doubt it. There are plenty of men in any country ready to try, plus there’s nothing to say you can’t bring people over after and just not get asylum.

You're using the term grifter, while personally attacking another poster - most notably for their mental age. Quite ironic.

It was a post about ‘that work’ that you responded to. I don’t think she’s qualified for anything else is she? Not a dig - it’s important and skilled work when done well, but I haven’t heard if other qualifications which would allow her to change careers. She could retrain I suppose.

It’s no coincidence that reform supporters never seem to be able to have any sort of meaningful or sensible discussion. Most of them on social media struggle to string a sentence together. It’s also the same demographic that falls for batshit conspiracy theories. No surprise reform keeps drumming it in that universities are indoctrination camps and bad mouthing our education system. It’s all by design. They need a clueless voter base to believe in what they’re saying without question, while denigrating educated people to make their voters feel better.

I'm cringing for you. So you assume all Reform voters are thick. You then have the nerve to talk about wanting a sensible or meaningful discussion. Youre not going to get that when you come to the table with preordained perceptions.

I think whilst you are throwing around education and intelligence insults based on people voting for Reform, you should remember that Labour introduced a children’s education and vocational training tax.

They also introduced university fees. Not a very grateful way to repay their protegees.

hotelinfo · 08/09/2025 15:49

It would be interesting to have a survey of the percentage of Reform voters who pursued higher education, versus the percentage of degrees attained by demographics voting for any other party.

It’s almost as if education choice goes against the centrally controlled education ideology of socialism and the required indoctrination of young people,

It’s not really free, some of us pay for it through our taxes.

I don’t see it as anything beyond attempt at (baseless) superiority again anyway. Everyone gets a vote, no matter if they went to university or not.

If non university people voted Labour they wouldn’t get the same derision. It’s nonsense. And if Labour only appeal to a small section of professionals usually public sector they’ll be out anyway.
