Does anyone else know Shady Shae on social media? He seems to be a London-based, Nigerian-born youtuber. He seems to believe that immigrants should integrate with and celebrate the countries that they come to.

Anyway, the point. Around 22nd August give or take he posted a video on youtube called "Black Man Took the St George’s Cross to a Protest… What Happened SHOCKED Me!" He has posted plenty of similar videos before.

AIBU to ask those people who regard antifa-types as heroes fighting the fascism and racism of Tommy Robinson and the "hard left" to watch the video above and tell me what evidence of racism and fascism was on show? AIBU to say that there it is hard to see a crowd as racist when it is showing massive levels of love to a black Nigerian?

They're racist/prejudiced against people who don't agree with them. It doesn't matter what colour skin they've got.

If they're prejudiced against people who don't agree with them as opposed to prejudiced against people with the wrong skin colour then surely that suggests it is a difference of opinion, not bigotry and certainly not racism.

Can you point me to some of the worst racist things Tommy Robinson has ever said? Did you watch his interview of Triggernometry recently? What bits did you disagree with?

Can I just check another thing? If being racist is racist, and hanging out with peopel with other skin colours is what racists do so as not to appear racist, how can I be sure that every single person on the planet isn't racist?

100%. And to be honest, when I have seen him before he comes across similarly, right back to when he did a BBC documentary where he spent lots of time with a muslim man learning about Islam (10 or 15 years back??!?)

He may be somewhat racist and he may be somewhat hard right.... but equally he may not be, and if one trusts his words as honest then he's neither hard right nor racist, IMHO.

I get 100% that having a black friend or having a muslim friend does not mean someone isn't racist. But equally, I find it very very very hard to consider that racism is the main motivator of a crowd of people with St George's flags when many of whom are telling a black nigerian man how much they love him and begging for selfies with him.

I started this thread to see what I am missing... maybe someone has evidence that Shady is being paid to be a hard right stooge, and all of the men shaking his hand and women kissing and uugging him were paid actors who are racist really but happy to pretend not to be for the cameras.

I know I'm fucking not. And nor is anyone I would ever associate with.

What is clown-like about using the term antifa (or transtifa if one wishes to be more TQ+ ideologue inclusive) to refer to the people who identify themselves as "anti-fascist"?

(1) I do not believe that being a member of the BNP 21 years ago now proves he agreed with everything the BNP said or stood for. And what he blieved 21 years ago does not make him a racist now. I believe that he explicitly opposes to ethno-nationalism, and I believe that his words and who he hangs out with back that up.

(2) The public are lied to by the MSM. What the public believes on TR is more about what they have been told, not the truth as you prove.

(3) There are pictures of TR stood next to Islamists. Are you saying he is a nazi and Islamist as he stands next to both?

I am here, awaiting the evidence of his racism. Show me the video where he says racist things or pushes racist ideas? I don't think he's perfect, and he has probably said things he regrets and things I disagree with, but I simply do not believe that he is some big racist. I believe he is a proud Brit who is happy with whoever is here so long as they share what he sees as british values.

Why not give triggernometry views? Do you think triggernometry deliberate edt videos to avoid their content revealing their guest's racism?

I think that the working classes in the UK are massively massively deminized by middle class liberals with university educations (I am one, but I try not to be a snob or classist), and I would not wish to criticize (for example) a white working class woman who spent her childhood growing up with kids of all races, all of whom, including pakistani kids, referred to the pakistani run corner shop as the p* shop.

I would also note that it is perfectly possible to say a racist thing and not be a racist.
