DSD picking newborn up and putting him back in Moses basket

My DSD (12) was visiting, our newborn is 4 weeks old and still has a delicate neck. I am happy with DSD holding her brother as long as one of us has put him in a position that keeps his neck supported. She will hold him from time to time if we are in another room.

However to my horror the other day I saw her taking him out of his Moses basket and putting him back.

Am I being unreasonable in that I feel that’s a step too far?

@Didimum we must be reading different threads then.
As for your comments @SomeOfTheTrouble, have you not got anything better to do than to involve yourself either?

I may post again, I may leave this thread now. But whatever I do is none of your concern. HTH

You’re right, I have got better things to do. There’s some paint I need to watch drying. Honestly I was just gobsmacked at the absolute absurdity of this squabble going into day 3, hence my ‘involving myself’. I’m going to hide the thread now so that I will be unaware of the ongoing bickering!

I’m not reading a different thread and l counted six FFS’s and one ‘shitty’ in the first six pages.

For crying out loud, because a couple of posters may have written FFS at the end of a sentence, you've actually gone and counted them to prove a point? Bless 😁

Can you not see that FFS was written in exasperation by posters because of the OP's over dramatical (so much so she started a thread about it) concern because her dsd picked the baby up? She didn't harm the baby or hold it by the ears, FFS, see there's another one!
I think she was referred to as a shitty SP, but that was in response to the OP's implication that she should've known that all step parents get a bad wrap on here.

I'm going off this thread now you'll be pleased to know, only because there is no point in responding to your ridiculous posts.
I'm still bewildered by you all going back to literally count how many times OP has been 'sworn at' if that's what you call it.
Get a grip.

She wasn't sworn at least 5 to 6 times on the first few pages.

No need to lie.

I think because you said the above, other posters went to check if you were lying. And indeed you were.

Next time you're haranguing an OP, take a good look at yourself and question why you're doing it. Perhaps some therapy might help?

Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Byeee......

You’ve been really unpleasant - not just to the OP, but to others on this thread. You posted that if a PP was saying that OP had been sworn at, then they must be reading a different thread. You also accused them of lying, which was patently untrue. That poster was reading the same thread and so was I. I don’t really care why the FFS’s or the ‘shitty’ comments were made. They were still swearing at OP and it was still within the first few pages. And that’s the second time you’ve flounced off the thread, so l look forward to hearing from you again the next time someone says something you don’t like. Maybe you’re the one who needs to get a grip.

This. Don’t fret - just like Arnie, they’ll be back !!
