To ask for your tiny tragedies

Was looking forward to having some strawberries with some nice thick greek yoghurt I had in the fridge and it turns out I just bought boring natural yoghurt by mistake 😭

My grocer had run out of strawberries 🍓. And I made meringues.

We had to have raspberries.

Did not take enough knickers on holiday.

I left tags on some new clothes and they disintegrated in the wash, causing the discharge to clog and now the washer wont drain. Expensive repair will far outpace what I saved on the clothes. This is what I get for always being in a rush.

I had to go back to work today after my holiday .

I didn’t put enough icing sugar in my buttercream, so it’s a little softer than I’d generally like it.

I am working away from home at the moment for two nights and a local restaurant makes epic pizza. I couldn’t get there last night as got caught up in traffic delays due to an accident and it was closed. So as soon as my day was finished today I had a quick shower and headed to the restaurant… the first thing the (admittedly lovely waitress) said when she gave me my menu was:

“Don’t worry about the stuff on the other side of the menu - we stopped doing pizzas yesterday but haven’t had a chance to change the menu yet.”

YESTERDAY?!

I saw a beautiful cat in the street today but it went back into its house before I got a chance to stroke it ☹️

This isn't a tiny tragedy at all, I forgot to take tea bags on holiday with me so I haven't had a cup of tea for almost a week 😭

Have you had a look for a tutorial on YouTube for how to fix it? I had a blocked drain on my machine and fixed it myself using a YouTube tutorial. I felt so impressed with myself for weeks!

I’ve done that before. Had to wash some in the sink with the soap 🤣

Last time I needed some cotton wool, there were no pads so I had to buy the tiny little balls which I find really annoying.

They are coming to an end now so I picked up some pads from the shop a couple of days ago. Went to use them tonight and it’s only a bloody roll, not pads 🤬 I think someone must have put it in the wrong place as I definitely checked the shelf label 🖕

I’ve managed to get suncream all over my brand new white t-shirt!

I don’t normally wear t-shirts, or indeed the colour white, but I found a lovely t-shirt in Next that was a perfect fit for me. I’m not convinced I will get the stains out (I tried a vinegar mix last night), but no change 😢.

Tragedy: I sat on my arse too long and now its too late for me to make and eat dinner.

Related, unexpected joy: Just remembered - thanks to OP - I have got some greek yoghurt with fruit in the fridge that I didn't eat this morning.

I have a thumping headache, started on Saturday and I thought I’d got rid of it as I felt fine this morning, but it’s come back. I think it might be coffee triggering it and I bloody love coffee.

I am a teacher so off work all week. Headache preventing me responding to the mountain of emails I don’t really want to start on..

The waiter whisked away my plate before I had a chance to eat the last, most delicious, morsel on there. I complained about this to my family frequently, until the day I died (this is a reverse).

I got my nails done yesterday and one has already broken.
So much for extra strong gel.

I added kale to a dish as per the recipe, against my better judgement, and as predicted it did indeed ruin a dish which would have been infinitely better without kale.

I found 5 grey hairs in my fringe today 😭

I finished my netball umpiring shift early, but i couldn’t go home early because I was picking somebody up afterwards.
