To be sick of the royal propaganda the UK is fed?

I know most people don’t give a damn about the Windsors any more .

However , in a week when we learn about Philip’s affairs - notably with Sarah Ferguson’s mother ( all covered up of course like the rest of their debachery) we are now expected to swallow the line that William and Kate’s next mansion is ‘paid for by William and Kate themselves ‘

No . That’s not the complete truth .Every penny the Windsors have , they have taken from the people . We now know William and Charles make millions from public services like the NHS schools and charities . We only know about this as a result of dogged journalistic digging . And most of the mainstream media barely covered the scandal .

There are many threads here about how the UK is in steep decline and how people are suffering . Yet the royals are taking in half a billion a year and charging charities on top !

At least admit to us that all their money is stolen from us ?

Oh and if you haven’t heard the queen knew all about Andrew pocketing money via ‘pitch at the palace’

She was told repeatedly by officials . She did nothing
Can we have some facts please ?
The Windsors are a total facade - they are all like Andrew - he’s just the latest fall guy .

"Mountbatten was a kiddy fiddler? Really? Who knew?"

Google the Kincora Children's Home scandal. That should tell you all you need to know about the dirty bastard. Apart from that, his sexual proclivities for young men were known for decades but his abuse at the children's home plunged new depths of depravity.

I agree. Arguably this country could benefit from abolishing the monarchy as the palaces and sites would still be there but with greater accessibility to the public (look at Versailles). Nobody who claims the RF themselves have benefited tourism or generated other income has ever been able to present any evidence that concretely proves this.

President Macron and his position are not something that is inexpensive by comparison with a monarchy such as in the Netherlands or Norway..

Macron is not a figurehead of State like King Charles or other European Royalty. He is the big boss. The Presidency of Republic of Ireland for example is something that could be replicated here.

Where is the proof of Philip's affair?

Which one? There are so many.

He lived in an era with more deference to the royals and no social media. Much easier to hide any evidence from the public.

Workshy Willy is currently moving to a £16million property….hasnt done a days work in his life!
And please don’t tell me he was a helicopter pilot….i believe that as much as I believe Phil the Greek was Randy Andy’s father!

Pleased you mentioned the doubt over Andy’s biological father
Lord Porchester is image of A and A’s daughters look very much like their alleged grandfather
I was shouted down on another thread when I dared to suggest that the late Q may have had an extra marital
The Royal waters just get muddier and muddier
My theory is that Q allegedly conceived A when Philip was on an extended overseas trip: Philip was summoned home when her pregnancy was confirmed, and the good old Royal PR machine hinted that A was result of an amorous Philip homecoming
Secrets and lies, methinks, even exist in Royal folds

He always had young boys on his boat with him, when on his summer holidays in Ireland
i watched a TV programme ages ago that suggested that the powers that be allegedly knew that the IRA were planning to murder him, but let it happen, to make the LM problem go away away…

I agree there's little reason to assume a president would cost less, but it's worth remembering that Charles and William only pay tax "voluntarily^, and not at all on some income which for anyone else would be taxed automatically

Anyone on that income would cleverly avoid tax the way all rich people do.

Serpentstooth · 16/08/2025 23:30

Porchester? I've often thought PA'S daughters have a look of Anthony Armstrong Jones.

Insanityisnotastrategy · 16/08/2025 23:33

Just googled pictures of Porchester and Andrew. It's like looking at the same person 🫢
Hopefully the images will load.

We plebs don't get it. Shagging around 'in your circle' is accepted if not expected. I've no idea why Princess Di didn't accept this, I believe it was a young girl's reaction 'how can he possibly prefer that old woman to me?' She was 19? At that age, CPB must have seemed like her granny by comparison. Anyway, it seems to me that it's only a problem if it becomes public. Then they throw their hands up in horror and say how outraged they all are. I don't know why they bother, presumably it's to provide a bit of moral guidance for those of us with our noses pressed up against their windows,

People thought the same about Prince Harry and James Hewitt but that rumour was proven to be false.

Confusdworriedmum · 17/08/2025 00:05

Well obviously the tax payer pays for the RF homes. I'm not sure why you are surprised by that. Most people know the RF get their money from us. Still I guess it is their money now. Once you give money to someone it becomes their money. Your wages don't belong to your employer once they've paid you.
Why are you bringing up an affair that Philip may or may not have had. He's been dead for years, what does it matter now?

I'm not saying I think the rumour is true or not but Diana didn't even meet Hewitt intl Harry was born. Porchester was TLQ's friends long before Andrew was born. Her marriage to Phil was rumoured to have been strained for many years before Andrewwas born.

What gets me is that when Parliament was illegally prorogued by Johnson, the Royal family, which is SUPPOSED to act as one of the last ditch checks and balances on Government, was either unable or unwilling to do anything. It showed just how bloody useless and redundant it was.

All that land that could help the declared land shortages in so many ways.

Get the fuck rid. Tax the bastards out of existence.

This was also the part that did it for me. If the Queen couldn’t stop Johnson doing this, then what was the point of the RF?

W&K are extremely lazy also - zero work ethic. Every other royal including those who’ve opted out, do more.

William and Kate are still very popular. In March of this year 74% off the British public had a positive impression of them.

Charles and Camilla aren't so popular but I think the majority of the public would like to see William and Catherine as King and Queen.

I wasn’t asked. Not was anyone I know.

The BBC was dreadful after The,Queen died
They made the British public out to be all simpering fools that were devastated by her loss.

Interesting the middle class dull suburb where I live was deathly hushed. Flags, mourning the whole lot. 10 minutes down the road, kids on bikes, brunch business as usual.
RF vile leeches.

This inbred farce has been going on for centuries. Even queen Victoria wasn’t adverse to a different side of the blanket (heamophila in ‘royals’ only started in her reign).
God the British public are sometimes stupid & gullible….the French had the right idea a couple of centuries ago!

To clarify, I'm not judging TLQ and I'm not bothered either way but I do think they literally have the same face (not like the superficial resemblance between Harry and Hewitt, mainly based on hair colour). I'm justposting in the spirit of finding it interesting - how the other half (or 1%) live!

Aren't the aristocracy all interbred anyway I think Camilla was Shand Kydd before she got married and there were some Shand Kydds in Diana,s extended family?

Queen Victoria was a carrier of haemophilia due to mutated genes. She passed the genes to her children and two of her daughters who married into European royal families passed the gene to their children. It wasn't anything to do with infidelity.

Is it a class thing? so many seem subservient to them but I don't understand it

This is what I mean re the propaganda

Many people knew or suspected that the royals were dissolute and corrupt but we continued with this childish ‘ respect and reverence ‘ , head of the Church of England utter bullshit
Mass media support this line - see the state of the BBC post Elizabeth’s death .

I use the past tense because finally some of it is being revealed .
People were ridiculed only a matter of years ago on this site for daring to suggest that the Windsors were riddled with pedophiles and pedophile protectors

That they all sleep around with men/ women is up to them them but stop the lies and the ‘oh they can’t be subject to the law or pay their tax because they are somehow ‘special’

These cannot be true, how many were polled? what age group? I couldn't tell you anything they do or why they are meant to be of relevance to me?

bldy · 17/08/2025 12:01

The final nail in the coffin - and there were already plenty of nails - should have been last year when it emerged that the Royal estates (which do not pay taxes on their profits) have received millions of pounds in rents from public bodies like the NHS, schools and the armed forces as well as from charities. Think about that - whilst doing performance charity work they are profiting from those very same charities on the sly. William & Charles are also effectively slum landlords.

I was shocked by this and more shocked by the fact not many seemed to care. People get more wound up about the fruit content in Meg's jam!

Trump might be dreadful but he was voted in by the American people .

And there's been no 'fixing'? And his promises weren't broken, they've been jumped up and down on and smashed to smithereens

And look what he's planning to do with the next election as the Republicans have the majority
