To think that white British/ American etcmen are just as much a threat to women as migrants?

malificent7 · 08/08/2025 12:47

I am not excusing grooming, paedophile sex rings and unmonitored immigration at all but I hate all these protests.
I know that my white male ex teacher is a sex offender. Not to mention the Epstein scandal.
Aibu to think that ALL men are a danger to women...not just men of different ethnicities/ religions etc?

Well you would say that, wouldn't you.

MI5 says that. You can’t pick and choose what they say that you believe.

As MI5 put it, ‘the biggest threat to the UK is Islamism’

And you have evidence to back up that claim?

"Islamist terrorism is the most significant terrorist threat to the UK by volume" is how MI5 words it.

Bunoit's not the only one and not the one that has not so subtly been dripping poison on MN over the last week.

’Islamist terrorism is the most significant terrorist threat to the UK by volume.’

Can’t really get clearer than that can you?

You don't like Muslims and want them deported. You're not going to have anything positive to say about Muslims. Therefore you're going to say they're a bigger threat than a bunch of far right extremists with which you identify. It's not rocket science.

JamesMacGill · 10/08/2025 17:39

Btw I thoroughly recommend Maajid Nawaz’s book. It does an excellent job of explaining to a ‘westerner’ the factors at play behind Isalimism and the insidious danger it poses. Maajid himself is a reformed convicted terrorist who was incarcerated in Egypt in the 2000s.

Secret Service states they have a job to do and shouldn't be abolished or more accountable - shocker.

They have absolutely never been known to lie to anyone, and definitely not as recently as, ermm, this year and to the High Court.

Ok, so we believed them one minute, and not now it isn’t going your way. Who would you believe that can be an authority on terror in the UK? Just yourself?

PandoraSocks · 10/08/2025 17:49

I think most of us know who Maajid Nawaz is. Maybe pp was unaware he had a popular radio programme until he went anti-vax.

He is not anti-Islam.

I don’t dislike Muslims. I dislike Islamism. Read Maajid’s book - he’s spot on with everything he says. Far right extremism and Islamism exist in a tort, one can’t exist without the other. He’s right that the only answer to this isn’t for the West to bend to accommodate its Islamist populations, but for Islam to undergo a reformation that makes it compatible with a secular government - a more moderate, modernised Islam if you will. He says current Islam can never be compatible with the West. Listen to him if you won’t listen to me.

TopPocketFind · 10/08/2025 17:50

MI5 also states

In our work, we divide terrorist ideology into four main categories. The reality of today’s terrorist threat is fluid can mean that terrorists can be appear to be motivated by multiple, unclear or shifting ideologies rather than a singular extremist narrative.

It’s obvious what he says is correct. It’s the Elephant in the room.

I must have imagined the 1970s.

So? Can you tell me how many terror attacks in the last 20 years have been right wing/white supremacists, and how many have been Islamists?

Why not just read Maajid’s book and then say what you think of it? Surely a Muslim (he’s still Muslim) man who has been convicted of terror offences, jailed in Egypt, and seen both sides of this coin is better placed to comment than you?

I dare say many Muslims (particularly young Muslims) would also like this but feel intense pressure from their community and older relatives. I know this is how my best friend’s husband feels. Constantly in ‘performance’ around his family and living a double life when he isn’t with them. This has caused him no end of hardship.

That doesn't make sense. You are advocating for remigration of Muslims, claiming they're a danger to women and children and saying they're a threat to the UK.

You're now claiming that you aren't against Muslims just Islamists.

As per usual to simply fall back on meaningless rhetoric. At no time did I ever say I believe them, so it's got nothing to do with "not going my way". I recognise that you think you are an authority on everything which is why I infrequently bother with you and your rabid opinions. I see you.

Good, then you see a woman who won’t sweep women and girls (British, Afghan, or from anywhere else) under the carpet to accommodate an imaginary notion of ‘multiculturalism’.

Ok I’ll answer it.

Right wing - 5
Islamist - 19

I don’t agree that anyone born in Britain should be ‘remigrated’ as they’re British.
