Many years ago Marks & Spencer sold a cheese and apple sandwich. It was grated cheese mixed with some kind of mayonnaise and with chunks of apple. It was amazing. Then it stopped and it never returned.

Would I be unreasonable to email their head office to ask for them to reintroduce it?

There was a cafe near me that did the best ever white hot chocolate and I used to have one every Friday. Often, white hot chocolate is too sweet but they’d absolutely nailed it and it was amazing 😋 😋 One day, it was gone and I was gutted 😢 😢

Noodle Town chicken chilli noodles. I actually feel real sadness when I think of them. Please Blue Dragon, being them back.

John Freida shampoo and conditioner in a blue glass bottle in the 90’s-early 2000, loved them, they made my dry frizzy hair sleek and really soft.

M and S used to do a wafer thin turkey, coleslaw and salad sandwich. When it suddenly disappeared,I asked a member of staff about it. She denied that they'd ever done it! But that's par for the course in M and S. They've discontinued quite a few products over the years and whenever I've queried it,they either deny everything having done said product,or said that I must have bought it somewhere else! I'm dreading them ever stopping their Cheese Tasters as they are my absolute favourite savoury snack.

There was also one called Eno, haven't seen that one either.

If ever I felt a tad unwell, I used to always take Andrews, hideous stuff but it did seem to make me feel slightly better.

@Myblueclematis my sister and i used to neck a glass in one go whilst it was still really fizzing and see who did the biggest burp - after the burp all was well !

Ah, that's why I felt better after forcing it down, I knew there must be a reason ... 😆

I just remembered Lyons individual apricot pies. It was such a treat to get any bought baked goods, but an apricot pie was the absolute epitome of deliciousness to my 5 year old palate. Lyons did loads of different little fruit pies, but apricot was my absolute favourite.

I can still buy the Dove Original hand wash (they do refill packs too) from Boots. Also the Dove Original deodorant. I agree with you the original fragrance is the best - the newer ones are sickly sweet and pretty awful.

This shampoo from the 80s. It had the most gorgeous smell that lasted for ages on your hair.

We still have two half tubes of this! Think we got it just before the discontinued announcement was made. Kit & Kin claim theirs is better so I may try this when we run out….
