I couldn’t sleep last night, worrying about a Reform government

I am really worried. I think they’ll wreck the economy. I’ve got a few years left to pay off my mortgage from my job that deals with immigrants. I don’t want our pensions to tank. I don’t want my sons’ lives to be messed around. I worry about more racism, the more ‘voice’ that Reform get. I live in a very multicultural city and non-white people tell me that they are experiencing more overt racism. It makes me feel very insecure about the future.

wish Labour would do more to show that they are on the side of ordinary people as I think that’s what is driving this (I’m a Labour voter). I don’t think the creation of Your Party will help, just give Reform more advantages.

Sigh. Happy to be told I’m unreasonable as I think the future looks bleak.

I can guarantee you wouldn't be able to pick me out 🤣

If you are as vocal about your politics as you are on here I wouldn't think it would be that hard.

Goldenbear · 01/08/2025 15:04

Probably tbh but it is more about the listening than the looking, does the person have an unhealthy obsession over and bang on about migrants...

Oh so they are only one subset of members of public who have been marginalised and heavily affected by unfettered unknown foreign individuals (mainly men) placed in the City/Town/village where they live?

The fact they don't usually fit in and these locals especially women might not feel safe with unvetted men being shipped in makes them Reform types?

I seem to remember you posting that you aren't a Reform voter so moved to the dark side have you.

🤣

Oh like one of those children flip books, to mix and match the top, middle and bottom of the person?

If you can charge the trousers to a rich benefactor, you voted Labour in 2024, but if you voted for Labour under Corbyn you get a sack cloth middle and if you intend to vote reform in 2028 you, well maybe Golden bear can yell us with her -Reformdar?

Jennps · 01/08/2025 15:08

twistyizzy · 01/08/2025 15:03

Of course cos they have an "I support Reform" sticker on 🤣

Yeah and when they’re in the vicinity, Labour and Consocialist voters start malfunctioning.

Like throwing water on an android and starts repeating ‘racist, racist, racist’ before collapsing in a heap on the ground.

Do you think this applies to you too, do you look like a Labour voter?

Why you so ashamed of being identified as a Reform voter, I mean I know it's embarrassing but still surely you should not care?

I wasn't but its now the only party who can now get Labour out in my constituency. So next election I am voting tactically to remove Labour. Lib Dems don't even field candidates here.
Labour have lost most of the Red Wall now.

I'm not at all as I've been quite vocal on here. I'm laughing at your ridiculous assertion that you could spot one in the wild 🤣

Im certainly not embarrassed. If anyone asked me id tell them as things stand at the minute I'll be voting reform

I didn't vote for Labour so there you go, wouldn't care if someone thought I was a liberal voter prefer that to the alternative.

😂Please enlighten me what is a reform demographic? I would love to know what demographic myself and my friends are?

What's more embarrassing making claims you know what all reform voters sound and look like, but fail to explain or detail exactly how we would recognise these features and people.

Sorry where is the key? How does this tell me what demographic I am?
That table is just general statistical data.

UsernameMcUsername · 01/08/2025 15:15

My biggest fear with Reform is that they'll just be the Old People Party once in office, which is basically how the Tories governed for more than a decade.

Other than that I don't actually lose sleep over them, and I say that as someone who is very Remain. Progressivism has overrreached on a number of key issues (immigration, law & order, gender & identity woo, in SOME ways the benefits system & education system) and the UK probably needs a course correction. Personally I wish Labour could both administer that course correction AND lay the foundations for a revived UK economy, but I'm not optimistic. My suspicion is that the historic main parties both know certain things have to change and would rather let a Reform government do the dirty work, so I think a Reform government is what we'll get.

How does that tell me how to tell a Reform voter in the flesh. What features they have etc. Goldenbear was convinced they could spot one so we are waiting for physical attributes etc
