I watched last night (don’t ask me why) I wish I didn’t. Woke up feeling dirty. Pure greed is where her motivation comes from. ‘Bonnie’ aka Tia boasted throughout she is a multi millionaire, where she started making £50k/month and went up to £2m/month before OF shut her account down. Now she’s back to making £600k/month on her new site, selling her body. The men queing up for her 1000 men stunt were just arriving from the street, no one had vetted them and the ones who were on show looked far too old for her and frankly, disgusting in old tracksuit bottoms and huge beer bellies. I’m so concerned by the internet. The young women on the show were ‘Only Fans creators’ and were 18-21, seemed nervous, shy and about to film a porn scene with Bonnie, completely for free but by Bonnie tagging them they would be earning money through new subscribers. These young girls, like Bonnie were stating it’s better than sitting behind a desk.

AIBU to wake up feeling anxious, disgusted, concerned with the damage and short cut to money Only Fans is creating for young women.

This isn’t acceptable and shouldn’t be allowed. On public health grounds.

It’s sickening to think that we can be walking amongst these ‘men’, standing in checkout queues amongst these men when doing the grocery shopping etc. It’s sickening to think that our daughters / granddaughters could be walking amongst these ‘men’. Some of these men apparently have respectable careers working as lawyers, doctors, teachers. How much more do we not know about because of sites like Adult Work. Com / Only fans. It’s happening all around us. We live in a very sick and disturbing world.

I didn’t know much about her before watching the documentary, but after seeing it, I’m deeply disturbed. The issues it raises are far more problematic than I expected, with serious long-term consequences.

Can you imagine what kind of expectations these young, inexperienced boys she slept with will grow up with? Many of them will struggle to realise that what they’ve seen isn’t reality — that real-life relationships and sex don’t look like that.

She claims she’s doing something good by “fulfilling men’s needs” that their wives supposedly don’t meet. But most women don’t have her kind of body, time, energy, or skills — and they shouldn’t have to. That ideal simply doesn’t exist in real life.

What she’s promoting is incredibly harmful. She’s trying to normalise something that is not only unrealistic but deeply toxic. The impact on young people, on relationships, on self-worth — it’s damaging in so many ways.

This isn’t something we can brush off. We need to take it seriously.

She can keep telling herself all she likes about empowerment,how she loves it blah blah. She looks dead behind the eyes. I'm not convinced she's 25 either. She looks much older. She's disgusting 🤢

You'd also have to look at the motives of the families involved. Anne Boleyn's sister was Henry's mistress but didn't manage to catch him. Where Mary failed, Anne succeeded and of course, the family benefitted tremendously.

Catherine Howard was Anne's cousin and despite seeing what Anne's fate had been, her family did everything that they could to put Catherine in front of Henry (although they were Howards and this was a powerful family, they were a junior branch who wanted to advance - and what better way than being the Queen's family?). Showing my age here but I’ve noticed no one ever brings this up in the Bonnie/Lily discussions. Apologies if it’s come up here as I have not read the whole thread. Two things that stood out for me was the fact she didn't go out anywhere despite all her supposed money and how controlling the guy she worked with was. Spoke for her, telling her she enjoyed it, particularly by the end. She had no friends to do the sort of young people things you'd do if you were " boring" and worked behind a desk. Any girl brought up with any sort of ambition would see right through her. Unfortunately those who are more desperate obviously emulate her, goodness only knows why.

She seems gleeful at it being women's partners who are partaking of her..ummm...services. I just have a gut feeling that deep down she thinks there is something fundamentally wrong with her that means she doesn't get to have what other people have (relationships with "normal" men), so she enjoys (in her mind at least) getting one-up on the women who have it. It just sounded all very goady and I think there's something going on there.

Agreed. And isn’t it awful to think that these men and boys were born into this world by a woman. Men who behave this way have no respect or care for women. It’s also awful to think that these men go home to their wives and kids and make out that they’re the devoted husband and loving dad and grandad. How would these men feel if other men were using their sisters, daughters in the same way. I don’t think they would care at all because they don’t respect women at all.

This isn’t the fault of BB or other woman though? Men have treated women like ‘ fuck holes’ as someone so nicely put it, since the dawn of time

The flat intonation, the vague gaze, her fixation on money, no sense of self, lack of emotion. I’m not a fan of diagnosis on the internet but having worked for many years with young autistic women, I would lay my money on her being on the spectrum.

The fact that her family support this and take her money tells you why she is so fucked up. I don’t think anyone thinks this is normal behaviour. It is like a Victorian freak show. I haven’t watched it and don’t know anything about her so that is just based on what I have read on here.
